Oh yes, wikipedia the great truth-sayer.

It's just I come from the country that colonized Greenland, and here the inuit find it highly offensive when they are called eskimos. Because they are inuit. But you are right, there are other similar groups who might not find it offensive, so I withdraw my statement (as long as we leave the inuit out of the eskimo-talks).
