O u, I'd love to, but I'd much rather leave my choices between WiC and ME.
I also have SC2, but I can't really play it due to BINK hating my PC, making me get horrid lag every time I get an ingame-video-message thing that's crucial to the mission...
Mass Effect. You will not regret it. You can't. There is absolutely nothing bad you can say about the game. Some love it, some like it, some don't care but I don't think you can dislike it in any way.
I've played WIC, it's a nice game with good multiplayer support, but it gets old after a while. I've not played Mass Effect, but heared it is single player only?
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.

This is a hard one if you leave personal preference out.
Mass Effect 1 & 2 offers great replay value in singleplayer, but doesn't have the multiplayer option.
WiC & WiC:SA have both singleplayer and multiplayer.
While the singleplayer is short and leaves the player wanting for more, there is the option for multiplayer.
It all comes down to choosing between singleplayer and multiplayer and which type of gameplay you like more,
an action packed 3rd person shooter with roleplay elements or a real time strategy.
I have only played the singleplayers of both WiC & WiC:SA, so naturally I'd prefer Mass Effect 1 & 2.
When comparing only singleplayers of both games, Mass Effect 1 & 2 beats WiC & WiC:SA no doubt.
<strike>A third option would be to buy WiC and WiC:SA and torrent the Mass Effect 1 & 2.</strike>
I'd say WiC if those are your definite choices. WiC has a lot of really neat dynamics to it. It's like the Battlefield of strategy games. Thing is in SP, though, you don't get to really pick your class. Regardless of that, it has a really touching story and I really enjoyed it. Without playing Multiplayer, though, there's no reason to keep playing it after beating the SP once.
If I were you, though, I would skip both of those and get the Company of Heroes Trilogy Pack on Steam.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
