Zoners aren't the only ones that got ships in the expansion. A lot of factions that shouldn't have did. However, as it's been said a million times by many players, a lot of them Zoner, this isn't vanilla. Zoners are a very different beast now, much like every other faction is a much different beast.
So someone isn't neutral to you anymore. So frickin' what? That doesn't mean you failed as Zoners. The Corsairs are by nature an aggressive and expansionistic people and a group of them saw a convenient pretext to attack. Ultimately, the Zoners that left are the ones that failed as roleplayers because they packed up and left when things didn't go their way.

I am pissed off because there is so much disrespect on this server from veteran players TOWARD veteran players, that's its difficult to breathe.
Am I suppose to believe that folks like Doc Holiday, Malaclypse, Jinx, Lou, Charles, Johann, Victor Cross, etc etc have all somehow screwed up one of the most difficult RP roles in Discovery? Are you kidding me?? Do any of you even have the slightest inkling of how difficult it has been to roleplay in a Zoner faction for the year that I have been a part of it?
People all around the server try. They have tried very hard. People like Doc have lost sleep because they went a little too far. It's a game, sure. But do you seriously think that insulting other players like that and taking multiple years of RP work and calling it rubbish and then being THANKFULL that folks are leaving -- do you think this helps make Discovery something less than frusteration?
the problem is not that zoners failed to stay neutral, it can be acceptable if there are good reasons for that.
the problem is that a bad-RP was used to force zoners to loose their neutrality (and that was made without their consent).
as said several times zoners food convoys have been supplying Crete regularly without interruption and this is a fact that seems denied by corsairs.

Will the Zoner infocard change now?? Why should it? There are OTHER people playing Discovery on OTHER servers.
Tomorrow many gamers will download the latest version of Discovery. It will have Zoners hostile to Corsairs because on one particular sever, some players decided that it's time that Zoners got someone on their black list.
EDIT: You pick a role. YOU STICK TO IT. -----> You want to CHANGE the role for everybody? You discuss it with other players before doing it.
Why haven't Rheinland and Liberty made up? Why aren't Corsairs and Outcasts been merged into House Hispania? Why haven't Liberty pardoned the Order for their valiant attempts to prevent an alien invasion? Why haven't the Zoners been turned hostile towards Corsairs. Oh. Wait.

People can lie. People can ignore facts that don't suit them. People can be irrational.
We RP people.
So deal with it. It's "unfair" within character alone. They made choices, you made choices. That is roleplay. And, honestly, the way things are going, the Corsairs are more screwed than the Zoners, since the Zoners finally got around to doing what I was hoping they'd do a week ago: pointing out to everyone else that Corsairs taking Zoner resources is bad for them.
The Zoners now have support from the SCRA, Red Hessians, Order, Outcasts, GMG, and possibly Mollys. The Corsairs are staring down that whole fleet all by themselves. Someone remind me why the Zoners are still bitching, because normally people supported by half of Sirius tend to cheer...

And what you don't get is that once you shot at us in Omega-3, allied with RHA/GMG/SCRA/OC/Order the food issue ceased to be the only issue.
And you weren't foced to loose your neutrality you choose to loose it when you refused to RP a diplomatic solution. TAZ and OSI have theres intact.

That argument is full of crap. The mod is made for this server first and foremost. We give other servers the tools to adjust things if they don't want to run things our way, but our player factions can already alter systems however they see fit.
Please don't resort to "think of the children" type arguments. "Yesterday" many gamers downloaded the latest version of Discovery and found that Baffin had a giant floating city and a big geode because some players on one particular server decided it was time that their actions were reflected in the mod.

I wonder if you could add Outcasts to the list... if the Zoners give financial support to outcasts and make the corsairs starve to death, the infinite hispanic war will soon come to an end. Yeah, the Corsair government now looks like a bunch of angry kids rather than capable leaders.:lol:
