Then we'll be open to talk each others to death on forum.

Problem solved.

All forum dialogue must be quoted from starwars.
But anywho. Caps can be rectified by bombers. Just field them instead of those fighters you gents seem to insist on sortie-ing.

To leonidos's Idea: Although it would make somewhat more of a cinematic RP deal, it is not ideal. Reason, players using Battleships and only having guard IDs is a iusse. Guard IDs requires alot of missions for that faction and would take a long time. Bribes for guards dont exist. Also restricting Battleships to stations of their own faction station would also cause some to get pissy. If a Battleship is heavily damaged and the closest station is in the next system when theres another friendly or neutral station near by, its ideal for the ship to dock for repairs.

To Vladezhda: Not ideal. NPCs are dumb and wouldnt provide a challenge for bomber/fighter pilots.

If people have a iusse about players owning a starship, they should know, although they have fire-power, Fighters have speed & manverability. Starships are also hard to maintain if the ship constantly is damaged and refills on Nanos and shield cores. So stop looking at it from a negative view and think of what other ships have that everyone else doesnt.

I had tried to talk about putting several defence in crete and malta, but its denied everytime. So im looking for another solution.

Then you'll have it denied as well, because placing defense installations is really a lesser and more balanced approach.. then ooRP restrictions of "you can't haz"

Besides i dont have ant problem with snubs, only problem with caps. And its not easy anymore to take down a battleship with 2 snubs. The new turret system is good, very good.. If someone can use the new turret system well then he can easily kill snubs than before(4.85).
Raiding with snubs were never the problem. I will also appriciate if those raider comes.. At least people of crete learn to use titan insted of legates.

All times we've been in gamma, skype done it's job pretty fast, and we got totally swarmed. Lack of numbers is like a last problem for Corsair playerbase, really =\

I want this to stop lolcaps docking on Junker bases then raiding the system/house the base is in (RM bs on Rochester anyone?).

I agree that a size restriction simillar to the docking ring thing would be good, but first we'd need to implement mooring, so ships could still be supplied by smaller stations/stationary battleships, so that GRN valors (for instance) didnt have to fly back to il de france for a repair.

I`m rather talking about lolcapgankers hugging bases of factions who don`t have a real homesystem.
Sure, Mollies have Dublin, Hessians have Dresden, but do you really want to restrict HMS and RNCs the access to systems acctually belonging to their house?

Dublin and Dersden is not home systems of Molly and Hessain. Lodendarry is mollies home, forgot exact system name but there are a jumphole in omega 11 to hessain home.
However, on topic, i dont see much people like this sooooooo....

When i was reading the zoner - corsair thread i think of a possible solution. I thought of posting this thing there but dont think it can be seen by everyone as that thread is a huge mess.
I belive raiding is not that much problem. The only problem is raiding with cap ships. Trust me, i dont like to see 4-5 hessain bs with 3-4 BHG cap and some other raiding in gamma. Home system should be safer. And yes im taking about all the home system. What i post here is not about corsair but for everyone.

So the possible solution will be reuse the guard id with some features.
1) A Capital ship bs/cruiser must use guard id.
2) Player with guard id cant dock any other than thier own base or allied base.
3) Player with guard id cant go to CORE systems as Home system and guard systems other than thier own(NY,NL,NB,NT,Alpha,Gamma,Mu).
+ some if you think to be added feel free

I think this will reduce the problem significantly. Pls do share what you think and no crticism from anyone.
This is not to increase your post count so stay out if you dont have any good thoughts.

Raiding is only viable thing left to do at all. Restricting capital ships, cool. People will just move elsewhere for the combat.
