Uhmm...where were we again? Ahh yes, the spyglass. That model is quite old:laugh:- well not that old.

But, yes - to be honeest, I had no clue what the community expected from a spyglass. Some say make it libertish - others say make it 'unique' yet, not libertish. So, I don't know exactly what the heck you guys wanted.

Until, Josh gave me an Idea - since he is the 'leaeder' of HF, afaik. So, I took his route. However, he can do whatever-jiberish he wants on it:laugh:

No, we do not need a Spyglass dueling thread. Tbh there's been so much argument over it at this point that I really think the decision lies with the HF and other factions who use one (VR, LH, NTF).

It's not like anyone else is flying the things.

Hm. As the owner of at least one sixth of all the Spyglasses in existence on the official server (possibly up to a quarter, depending on if any of them are wiped; two of them are never actually seen), I approve of the aesthetics of this thing.

However! I am curious about the size of the thing. Seems to have dropped the unique long-and-thin style of the Spyglass. Was that intentional, and are there any plans to make it longer/thinner?

Anyway, that is the Spyglass you were working on? Looks neat, but I don't really see that it looks similar to the Rest of the Liberty Capital Ships.

These are some great models so far. I foresee a lot of people wanting to join the HF just for the sake of these epic looking ships. The VHF itself almost made me push the recruitment button. :/

Hellfire Legion has been on discovery for god knows how long, I'd love to see them finally get their own shipline ^^

IF I had my tools, I'd offer to texture those ships for ya guys. No tools = no texturing for me =(

Concerning the model. Well, Justin dropped the original concept art in the NTF chat at one point. It needs more beef. By that, I mean you kinda mauled it with that hole in the middle, and all the fiddly parts look just a tad skinny. My suggestion is to close up that thing that looks like it's supposed to be a hangar. Just have doors there instead. Massive holes in a ship are generally not a good thing. More pictures would also be very greatly appreciated.
