It's not about the fact you used it, it's about what you used it for.
You used it to chase our convoy down to collect on us. We used it to keep your flight of pandas off of us, which didn't really work.
Sure, it wasn't RIGHT that we metagamed in an attempt to counter, but it was FAIR.
You would have no way of knowing where we were going. Up until we started trying to dock on bases in Magellan, you never could have targeted our ships to track our direction. Not to mention the Mandalorians have no bases or satellites, so you couldn't have sighted us otherwise.
We have our own bases and allied bases along that route though. Those bases have patrols, so we're a bit more justified than you are in checking our long-range "rear view mirrors."

Telling me you never use the player list is kind of hard to believe, I doubt that the LR-, for example, will go to california if there are 10 LNS's in the system.
Same as the LR don't like to log to get blasted for 10 LNS's (With that I mean you don't go to california when it's full of lawfuls), I don't like to log and wait for my valid targets to come to me, which never happens (Except for GRNs in galia), and will never happen, because no one will fly to someone who's going to shoot him. Just as the LR- won't go to a system full of LNS's, I don't go to an empty system.
And you are resting importance to what we accomplished, no one told us that you were going to Alpha, we figured that ourselves, and we acted in response to that, you could have gone to Pennsylvania and we would be screwed, just as an example.
By the way, two weeks ago, you used the same tool to get away from us, and that time, no one complained about it. Using the player list is metagaming, yes, but on a game where you depend on your interaction with other people, I think it's a good and bad tool, I'm sorry, but that's how it is.
