Better use a different Colour than red. Red and blue/white = not good.

The red/blue contrast hurts my eyes. I'd really recommend a different colour. Maybe black or white.

That's what I am talking about. It's Contrast yes, but a wrong Contrast. Like wearing a green Shirt and green Trousers.

You could also try a darker blue

Nope, doesn't hurt my eyes and the first version -much- better.
I find that cyan border to be unfitting and to be honest, rather ugly.

My only thought about your signature(s) is that you need more self-confidence.
If you're happy about the result, then that's all you're ever going to need.

On the other hand, I understand if you're looking for suggestions. That's always good. Assuming they're proper suggestions that have been given a bit thought, not just thrown out of a momentary caprice.
But following blindly other's suggestion is not good.
You need to know what you want, not what others want, because this is a rather large community and opinions vary a lot.
If you don't feel the red's good, change it. If you feel it's good, don't change it.
