I have 100 blacksmithing and im sure the base dmg of my daedric daggers are above 90 as i used pots and enchanted gear to create and grind them.
Also I use the Paralyse and fiery soul trap on each blade, with i think its 100 enchanting its epic, as fiery soul trap does some damage and traps the souls also whilst with paralyse on both weapons i have a high chance of paralysing them.

That's nice.
If you'd done the exact same thing to swords, you'd do more damage.

Sure, if that's how you want to play through Skyrim. It's a possible, albeit quite boring way to grind through the main quest. You can do pretty much whatever you want in any TES game as Zahas said - including sticking around in the second town you get to to level up before you head out on the main quest.
Also, why do NPCs always seem to get awesome power/finishing attacks on dragons? I've never been able to do them on my character, neither when I'm armed or unarmed. :(

I get kill moves fairly frequently. Also, the chance of getting them can be adjusted by a mod. I think it's called Kill Move+, which just increases the probability of getting one. The extreme version adds the same chance to NPCs as well, for extra difficulty.

I get them all the time even on the Xbox360. First time I did it scared the crap out of me - I thought I was getting the Dragon kill move - which is so reminiscent of my dog playing tug of war with a sock it's not funny. Shake his head, then it goes flying - sort of like me.
The kill move from the giants is way too funny - ragdoll physics throwing your character close to 1,000' into the air or something.
I'm on my second run-through on the 360, this time as a Nord fighter type. Screw magic - I bash your head in with a mace! (Mace smackdown kill moves are pretty cool.)

The update 1.5 kill moves are sweet! I wish I'd had FRAPS running so I could post that video. (This was on my PC version.) Arrow from on top of a tower taking out a bowman about 200 feet away on the ground. Fire the shot - it tracks the arrow down from my bow, then as it impacted the other bowman right between the eyes (damn, I'm good) and her body falls to the ground in a lifeless clutter.
