I've thought about that more too, I was against it, but now I'm going the other way. Wouldn't it be more realistic, giving the fighters somewhere to hide and a weakness for battleships? The asteroid fields can be navigated manually, it just takes longer (quite a bit longer).

It would be kind of like The Empire Strikes Back, and my favourite quote (adopt deep echoey wheezing voice with clenched fist and pointy finger):

"Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral".

Oh, and also:

Flyable Luxury Liner?
Flyable Juni's Defender?

Role-played characters:
daedalus - Liberty Navy
bandersnatch - Ruthless criminal possessed by a (huge) alien
Shredder - Small-time Kusari pirate, looking to join the Blood Dragons

What's so special about Juni defender? It has the same model as the ordinary defender but more powerful?

It's seems to get more powerful throughout the sp story, as Juni flies it all the way through if I remember correctly. But I added it mainly because it's a slightly different model and looks cool for us Liberty Navy types  It's a Defender with a tail fin to match the wings.
If it doesn't have any fixed stats, maybe some could be created? Like a normal Defender with better class equipment?
I've heard of it being flyable in other mods, can't remember the name of them though.

It looks kinda like an Imperial Lamba Shuttle from SW. >_>

I agree, the mass should be increased even if it makes asteroid fields harder to navigate. I'm tired of those rock fragments forcing my ship upwards when I cruise, and I'm tired of fighters and debris flipping my ship over. -_-'

It probably has low level gun ports.....

In other news I don't really mind about the battleship mass. It would however be cool if you could improve the docking capabilities of the Rheinland battleship.

Someone reported that the mooring fixture near planet Crete is hostile. Don't you remember to which faction it belongs exactly?

About weapons - I probably will reduce missile power 2-2,5 times for battleships and 1,5-2 times for other ships, make forward and flak cannons 2-3 times more powerful, and turrets up to 20-30% more powerful.

All ships have them.
Edit: except Osiris and nomad ones.

I didn't think of that, according to the scanner the mooring fixture is an Outcast base. Should be Corsairs.

The Osiris doesn't.
