We swim above the clouds of New Tokyo, to greet the travellers and watch.

A mercenary, with an ident that said '€œGullveig'€, speaks with us. Offers his assistance, his company. We smell death smoke from his ship hull, it chokes us. We invite him to a place where he may be watched on New Tokyo.

Kurosaki Takeshi of the KNF speaks with us, and we begin to patrol. At first only travellers. Then a three-pronged spear thrown from Malta fell into Kyushu. We guide the Outcast beyond the borders, to the Tau systems. Kurosaki Takeshi is pleased. We wonder if he tires of the fight.

Time passes. Light drips into the dark. Kurosaki Takeshi leaves us.

Across our senses, a shadow flickers. A hauler, heavy with ore of niobium, under the aegis of the IMG. The Captain speaks with us, shares stories. The Kempetei gunboat Hikari.No.Ken meets with us and adds its voice.

Will we need this information? Perhaps, to prove ourselves. We say our Sayonaras to the miner.

The Kempetei expresses experience of the Bretonian front.

IKN-Hikari.No.Ken|KPT: Overall, it seems to be going well. I'€™m afraid my part of it is classified, however.
The Hikari.No.Ken has a mystery, we press with subtlety, but are rebuffed. It holds its secrets.

We sense the blot that covers us and blinds. Matsumoto issues signals confirming. We raise the alarm and the Kempetei answer the hunt. We split, and are free. We know our prey. A Hathor slips through this jumphole, that. It is slow, fat. Afraid. We speak to the Kempetei, to announce our quarry. We speak to the Hathor. It responds to our intimidation.

The blot spreads, ink on pristine paper, stained. Our name is strengthened.

Over New Tokyo a Dragon writhes, then two, intertwine, then a third to tie the knot. A roar, emperor! The Kempetei falls first, her gunboat falling to a thousand cuts. Our Umibozu is next, though the Hogosha and Naval Forces joined as we fall. We feel... shame? It is a thing inside us.

We left under the mask of their Navy, none were suspect of us.

We move through 'New Tokyo', all is quiet. We continued on our path to 'Kyushu'.

A Dragon intercepted us. It attempted to halt 'Hogosha'. We ordered them to continue along.

She dances with us, and she is beautiful. We do not kill, she leaves us.

We dip our toe in the sea of Seto.
A Gunboat '€œLord_X'€, flails beside our Battleship. We think him deranged. The ship crumbles beneath a barrage of light.

We hear the song of another, and meet. They speak of him as Gendo Kaze, but he is no longer.



Together we trap something we did not recognise. These Brigands, what are they? We stop it, harry it. It flees and hides with the Samura. It is watched.

A second flower unfurls beneath Kyushu'€™s sun. We tease and chase, and speak and play games.

[GC]-Chi.Shimizu: Now, what do you want, dogs ?
113th|Kenzou.Tenma.: I repeat my request of your purpose in Kyushu.
[GC]-Chi.Shimizu: What does it matter to you anyway ? You'€™re going to claim something different, no matter what I say.
113th|Kenzou Tenma.: Leaflet distribution is of course permitted, though holding unlicensed demonstrations is prohibited.

We pick her brain. She is... on her way through. We are amused and we leave her muddled.

The Dragons roil in Kyushu, their scales raise the dust of past transgression. We act, and pose and take the part with poetry and politics to temper tongue.

113th|Kenzou.Tenma: To lie to a child; to say to him, the sun shines and all the world is happy, is a soft cruelty. He will grow in time to see and feel the pain of truth. So it is in government. Lies are told until the children are grown.

The Dragons grow in number, their allies form a rearguard. We withdraw, our flesh-tongue tired.

We left from our home, the Arch. We became aware, an intruder.

They were 'Libertonian' - a vessel of war.

Their presence was unwanted. We called for assistance, and assistance was given.

Under the veil of the Naval Forces, we kept it distracted. Time went on as we exchanged meaningless words. They thought they knew us, we did not reveal ourselves.

We grow as we learn, we learn as we grow. We dispatched in search of answers to our questions. We found a suitor.



Banter was created, the idle chit-chat that they formulate to create 'friendship'. In theory, we have a new friend. Our talks were broken by the traffic; of which carried nothing harmful.




The pivotal moment of interest: Thieves. It was discovered that a Freelancer 'purchased' a gunboat. As we engaged in this matter, I was ordered back to the Arch for a debriefing. The outcome of this conflict will be investigated later.
