Was patrolling theta and two outcast players started pirating:

HalfHair (Sabre)

Madcrooksy threatened to kill me if I didn't pay him 2 mil. I defended myself with the Raven's Talon. After he died HalfHair showed up and a new battle was on. The fight lasted long but I saw an opportunity to put a nuclear mine at the enemy.

Good work everybody. I see that your piloting skills are improving rapidly.

Keeping Theta clean of pirates is important, as the system is key for the VIP's trade route. Without us, the place would be a very wild and unsafe system.

After killing Gentle again in Omicron Gamma (Approximetly 5 hours after the last attack).

He decided to attack back in Omicron Theta.

Hes combat skills had improved along with him using cannonballs which he mastered well. I was defeated.

Side note: Have used only guns for a while now and it has gone well. However I seem to be weak against players using damaging missile launchers.
I'm right now working on a new setup that will add one missile launcher and rest guns. The current setup drains too much energy. Will see if a
cannonball missile launcher will help me.

As I was patrolling Theta I saw a member of the Benitez family. He was using a corsair gunboat and I asked him what he was doing in the system. He answered the same thing I were doing in gamma,
"Enjoying the view". I got the impression of him searching for a fight so I took my little Bomber for a test drive. He was near the Omega-41 jumphole and told me that he didn't wished to fight. But I wished, so I started firing at him. And of course he responded. The fight lasted about 5 minutes. Before he died, but I was badly hurt from his guns.

Note: The death message showed that an NPC killed him. But that was only because Bounty Hunters got a last shot at him. (Enrico_Benitez, can confirm himself that I killed him if you don't trust my word)

Missiles. Most of the pilots don't live long enough to learn how to correctly evade a missile. The fact that your pod survived is miraculous, as the damn missiles tend to take everything out when they explode.
As soon as I get back to theta, I will teach you a thing or two about missile evasion.
Until then, all i can tell you is that a Cruise Disruptor fired at the right time will cause the missile launched at you to explode in the face of the enemy.

Greetings. I return from my cybernetic reconstruction. It seems that accident in the asteroid field was worse than I expected. My right arm and my left eye have been replaced with improved limbs. I believe they will help my performance in combat.

At the request of our friends the Nova PG I took the Black Sun and, escorted by Skyrim proceeded to Hokkaido to provide fire support for our friends as they concluded negotiations with the KNF. Fortunately the allied fleet was too intimidating and any potenial attackers were warded off and the negotiations were concluded peacefully. Skyrim and I returned to Theta with thanks from our friends the Nova PG and the KNF.

At the orders from our, Supreme Admiral Luciaden. We were assigned to an assault against the Corsairs.
Our main goal was to infiltrate Crete and take out, all hostile pilots. We expected the enemy to use
Capital Ships, but we thought wrong. Our long range scanners picked up two Corsair VHF pilots and one Order pilot. The order pilot quickly flied away as he realized this battle was not involved around him. Our wing of 2 bombers and 2 fighters started to engage the two Corsairs. After the first Corsair died another one showed up from Crete. The fight went on and at last we got them all down. It was a hard battle but luckily we made it with only minor damages. No pilot of our wing was killed during the mission.

Today me and Gezza (80thLions) decided to attack a Benitez member who was orbiting around Crete.

I dispatched my Taiidan Bomber, and Gezza his Light Fighter.

As we were near aproaching the enemy. The respected Don of the Benitez showed up, to protect his family.
This came unexpected, now it was a fighter and a gunboat against us.

I decided to take on the Gunboat while Gezza tried to dogfight Carlos. After a couple of minutes I got shot down by a precise shot from the Corsair Gunboat, however he was damaged. It started to look ugly for Gezza but out of honour, the Don asked his clan mate to hold fire, he wanted to give Gezza a chance to fight back. Luckily, a clan member named Tyson with his mighty Zoner Juggernaut came to aid us. Unfortunetly, Gezza was shot down by the Don. Quickly after the
Corsair Gunboat was shot down by Tyson. Now the battle turned unfair, it was a Juggernaut vs a VHF.
The Don, skillfully dodge most of the shots that was coming. Fighting for his last breath, a corsair by the name Spacewolf and a Corsair Osiris came to turn the tide. Tyson was shot down. But at last, the reinforcment of the mighty Blood Dragons (NovaPG) , came to revenge our deaths....

Senors, I would like to thank you for an honorable although exhausting battle.
Mr. Gezza's dodging skill was impressive, but he was MY prey, and so I asked by hermano Ximen to leave him well alone. That was...until your Juggernaut showed on radar.
It seemed like it would never end, with first the impossible task of taking down youre battleship, followed by the NovaPG, then followed by UOG just before the server crash that ended the invasion... I thought the days of the Corsairs on Crete where over.
Good fight, senors. I look forward to repaying the favour...:happy:
