A citizen of Rheinland hears about the war and the soldiers fighting in it every day since it broke out. We buy our food, go to work and listen to a report about a hundred brave Rheinwehr pilots and crewmen dying in a clean sweep operation. We live our comfortable lives on New Berlin, Nüremberg or Baden Baden, regarding deaths of true heroes as something that is an everyday happening.

As someone who just got shot down on the Texas front while flying alongside our Rheinwehr soldiers, aside delivering footage of another major victory, I must also deliver you a message.

What the Rheinwehr is doing is more than fighting a mere war. This is a campaign fought against the forces of evil; the Libertonians are twisted madmen, butchers and terrorists, looking to achieve nothing but to fill their greed and thirst for blood, killing civilians if their mood deems fit. The Rheinland Militär, our brave soldiers, are fighting more than a war, they are fighting a crusade! As today has proven it well, the dark forces of Liberty shiver in fear from their Rheinlander nemesis only and are not afraid to utilize any unorthodox means to try striking fear into the hearts of our valiant soldiers.

[font=Georgia][color=#FFCC66]Led by Hauptflotte officers Major Felicia Drum and Hauptmann Hans Putzkammer, our Rheinwehr strike force approached Houston with four battleships, the Wallenhorst, the Nassau, the Prinze Eugen and the infamous Jarek and two fighter/bomber wings as well as a pair of gunboats flying escort.



The Liberty defense force, two carriers and three Dreadnaughts manned planetary orbit, the Mississippi FTL-ing for backup, from where on an uncountable flow of miscellaneous Liberty ships kept pouring in, soon overwhelming the Rheinwehr fleet by numbers.



Our brave soldiers threw themselves at the enemy with a furious charge, taking a pair of Siege cruisers and a Dreadnaught, the Oblivion down. After scattering some gunboats and pinning down the fighters, the enemy forces, including the two wounded assault carriers, retreated to Houston orbit, where they neutralized one of our battleships.







Afterwards, the fight split in two, some of the Liberty forces attempted retreating to Huntsville by evading via the far side of the planet, losing some gunboats in the process. At that point did the RNC Blitz and the RNC Wiesmoor, two heroic gunboats decide to take on the LNS Pandora, a siege cruiser which fled to the cover of Huntsville prison, using an entire station of unarmed prisoners as a human shield.







The other section of the fight was mainly fighter-based, about 10 kilometers south of Houston. The Rheinwehr achieved a considerable amount of success until a fleet of capital ships, spearheaded by the LNS-Sierra, an assault carrier, decided to interfere.



The fighters however didn't manage to draw the attention of the enemy fleet long enough to prevent them from regrouping and counter-attacking the Rheinwehr capital ships at Abilene. Two battleships and the gunboat wing was destroyed by heavy mortar and bomber fire, the Jarek was lost in a suicide charge during which the Sierra was taken down and the Nassau was overwhelmed by a pair of Dreadnaughts, succeeding to take down only one of them.

The fight then shifted to Houston orbit, where Rheinwehr fighters attempted to counter the immeasurable amount of Liberty capitals, the solaris-based LNS Columbia causing most of the headache by hitting Wraiths with an entire carrier.







Regardless of the cowardly odds, several enemy fighters have been destroyed while losing very little in comparison. The enemy gunboats kept fleeing back to the Mississippi, which will be occupied for a few months with trying to repair the damage caused by the Rheinwehr.



In despair, the Liberty Security Force agents ordered the Liberty fighting forces to massacre the civilians in the area, that's how my Rhino got shot down, as well as another journalist, Wilhelm Zoller. I don't know if my colleague survived, but I managed to flee the area with using an escape pod.

Our courageous soldiers at the Rheinland military put their lives to risk every day against immeasurable odds, cowardly attacks, fear and terror, just to prevent the menace of Liberty expansion from reaching our Vaterland.

The Libertonians did everything to prevent this report from reaching Rheinland, they shot me as soon as they learned I transmitted the files back home. This is a very good vision of what awaits us if we don't fight the Libertonians with all we've got, with fang and claw, with blood and tears.

The heroism and sacrifice of the Rheinwehr cannot be regarded as something that is an everyday happening, far away from our safe shelters. It is something that must set us an example, a behavior we should strive for and do everything to excel at.
