First: You've got a picture in there that's 800x286 pixels. The maximum signature size is 700x250.
Second: Your other picture in the rotation fills the full 700x250 boundaries by itself.
With an image that big, you can't fit any text below it. Please fix this.

Coulda changed since I've been gone but generally the accepted amount speaking in Fairplay terms is around two to five million...but there's really no way that can be enforced...

Sounds like you simply ran into somebody who wants to ruin somebody's day is all, most pirates...at least not the ones I played with or played as, don't charge more than five million...usually.

note:
max amount demandable = amount (nearly) always demanded

careful what you wish for.

best way people should do it, is take a percentage of how much the cargo is worth/ or a percentage of the cargo, its fair. Though this isnt really something that could be enforced, people could quite easily say: But im roleplaying a power hungry, money stealing, evil tyrant of a pirate or something O.o

We just need to put a system up that means people learn the fair play aspect of the server and not just the rules. As if you are a new player, how are they meant to know what is considered fair?

You found yourself in a position where you had to pay that much money and then even drop your cargo as well? Mate, if I had captained my ship that badly, I wouldn't want anyone to know about it.

I really could care less but imo that is abuse he might as well have demanded i paid then took all of my cargo and blew me up.

on a side note i feel better i just put 3 shotgun holes in my target out back.

Why should pirates demand 2-5 million credits from a trader, that makes 15-30 million from his cargo (only an example) ?
