I heard some rumors about the youngest princess in the Border Worlds, so I got in space to see if it was true. It appeared they were not just rumors! Just ouside RNS Beuvray, the Princess, Alice DeFrance, was testing out her new Navy ship. We were not alone. Several members of the Legion were spreading their sick thoughts in the system wide channel.
As if one member of the Royal Family wasn't enough, Mon Prince Joseph DeFrance joined us to make sure his sister was safe. After we got the Princess' ship set up, we went looking for the hostiles. They were executing their well known strategy... Basehugging. We tried to lure them out of their holes several times, but the cowards didn't move... as expected. They had an unwelcome guest. A member of the unknown group "SCRA" He tried to spread his communist propaganda through the system, but mon Prince didn't have much trouble countering his "arguments"
The Princess decided that she wanted one of the "pilots" as her new pet, so we went in to get the thing that was piloting the "Wrathe of Vulpe". We found the "thing" outside of Macon Base, sharing some gross thoughts about it and the princess. The Princess' wish was our command, so after a very weird conversation, Prince Joseph ordered us to engage and we flew straight through Macons defenses, and engaged the ship. It was a lousy opponent, barely scratching our shields. It didn't even had the guts to finish the fight... It fled by docking the base.
After this little excursion into the Asteroid field, we got tired of the cowards lies in the systems channel, so we jammed it, and ended our little adventure.
I would like to welcome ma Princesse to the Border Worlds, and I hope she will have a pleasant time shooting the Council with us.

Bonjour,
Yesterdays patrol secured our space in the systems of Burgundy, Dauphine and Languedoc. Except for the more or less usual Council flight wings, together with other criminal elements, nothing worth reporting crossed my path. I took care of them, not leaving anything that could give passing by vessels a slight proof that those criminals ever existed.
Another important thing is the arrival of my new Bomber class vessel, this was the ships first patrol.

A rather uneventful day if there ever was one. Under my command, the Renaissance and a small combat wing of fighters performed a combat patrol around the Border systems. We had only found one object of interest, and that was merely a Junker.
Our wing is now gathered in Languedoc, should the Council decide to stubbornly push or probe at our defenses.
For the King!

I've performed a recon patrol around Burgundy and Dauphine. Everything was fine, the Council forces haven't given us problems. The only relevant event was the interception of a small transport ship carrying unidentified weaponry. There wasn't any information about the manufacturer, just a code name:
I'll deliver these ones to our R&D team in Dijon. Let's hope we could use this weaponry against the Council. Giroux out.
Immediately after our deployment [00:00 9th Sept || Planet Quillan, Sector 82-H], we proceeded to our targets' location. They were succesfully replaced. No suspicions were raised. The only contretemps we had to face... A 10-years-old girl called Monica. She was present at the time Zero-One eliminated her targets.
We spent six days 'blending with the enviroment'. Nobody suspected about our actions. The 15th we enlisted the Council forces. We got assigned one Gecko, one Agama and one Basilisk. After this, we moved the vessels to the Martyr. Mission accomplished.
Sidenote: The girl has shown misbehaviour in a few critical moments. Intelligence reports should have warned about this potential threat before starting the mission. Zero-One has been dealing with the girl.
Yet again the Council have seen the error of their ways.
They saw fit to attack a lone Cougar class Bomber on patrol in the Burgundy system, piloted by Monsieur Aubert Giroux, with a force consisting of two Cruisers. While they were able to do moderate damage to his ship, he called for re-enforcements, to which I answered with the Acre.
How they were able to get two such ships so close to the Trade Lanes is puzzling indeed. However, once the Acre arrived at the scene to support Monsieur Giroux, the battle was swift.
Although one of the ships attempted to flee, the guns of the Acre were more than a match for them, and we were able to keep pace long enough to destroy both of them. Visual records of the battle are as follows...
[color=#FFFFFF]As the Cruisers went down, I ordered any pods found not to be destroyed, as, in recent battles, we have perhaps passed over the opportunity to gain valuable intelligence from prisoners, who are often killed on sight. And I fear perhaps that some of the Kings men may not be sufficiently stalwart in holding to the tenets of honour and chivalry. In respect of this, all the prisoners we could find are being held aboard Dijon awaiting interrogation and trial.
Other than that, once we had gathered all prisoners, both Council and Naval, from the battlefield, we returned to Dijon, for re-fuelling and re-arming, as at no point were the shields of the Acre breeched.

Today, myself and three other Sous-liutenants assisted a [GMS] vessel being hindered on the tradlanes by a Brigand by the name of Christine Armand. The brigand surrendered before the might of the Crown, and we brought her to Avallon, and signed her over to the GRP. Other than that, there were no other incidents.

Bonjour,
I received reports that one of the treacherous vessels had been spotted, so I moved to their last known position.
Upon my arrival the traitor was already under attack by a Police and 2 Navy vessels, I did not hesitate to join them.
After a short, uneventful fight the vessel was destroyed and we returned back to the base.

"Bonjour,
Today I did a routine patrol. and came across two Sirian Mercenaries. They both stayed quit, untill one asked me "Why are you shooting at Council pilots" .... after that.. both of them engaged, causing shield damage right away, I knew my cause was lost, and I needed help, luckily Rouge Wing, also known as 3eme, were launched and came to assist, they open fire at my command. Jacques.De.Molay also appeared to assist, after a while, my hull became unstable, and I was out of nano repairs, luckily, RNS-Maromme was dispatched to assist, the ship supplied with more nanos, and they repaired what they could.
The battle raged for a while before our targets began to fall. Colonel de Molay shot down the first target, followed by a second shot down by one of the Rouge Wing units. I called the order for the bombers to be called off, and they followed orders. I allowed one of the mercenaries to run for it's life.. and to tell the story of the almighty Gallic Navy !
3eme has my respect, and shall continue to carry that honour.

Subject: Report on Undercover Operation "Red Fish"
After keeping a low profile for a few days to erase any suspicion that might have been there, we went for our first undercover operation. We gathered at the rendezvous point, Montpellier Guard Station. It was a wreck, repaired with scrap metal, with the not-fitting parts just sticking out of it. If the Navy were to attack, this station was a very poor last line of defense. We proceeded through the jump hole, on to the much discussed Reunion Station. Like Montpellier, it wasn’t a piece of architectural art, although it was in a slightly better condition.
Our mission for the coming days was to head for Bretonia space, one of the neighboring systems. For that, we had to pass “[color=#FFCCCC]Orkney” to the system designated as “Tau-23”. The Council computers contained some information on it, but it wasn’t very detailed. It said it was a asteroid system, with 3 big parties operating there.
The moment we entered the system, we had a large object on scanners. It appeared to be a Sirian Warship. It belonged to one of the 3 parties, the “Independent Miners Guild” or short,IMG. I included some detailed scans for thorough analysis. It’s probably no match for our Valors, but just to make sure…
The Captain named Bonnie Schuster was very friendly, and very soon after that, another fighter-class vessel (and of course, scans included) affiliated to the IMG entered scanner range. We had a mission to accomplish, so we asked for the quickest route to our destination: Bretonia. Both vessels escorted us to a jump gate, leading to “Tau-31”. From there, only the fighter-class continued. The system appeared to be an active war zone. Heavy military patrols and fights all over the place. This was a perfect opportunity to gather some valuable military intelligence on the warships.
After a smooth trip through the system, we arrived at the “Leeds System”. There wasn’t much information available in the council computers, so we didn’t know what to expect. The first thing I noticed is that system was brown. Ugly dirty brown. Either someone screwed up here, or it was just a weird system. When we arrived at the main planet, “Leeds” (Sirian inspiration?), we were welcomed by a delegation of the local military force, the "Bretonia Armed Forces" or BAF. At first, they were very suspicious, but after some smooth talking, we convinced them that we weren’t the threat.
It seemed we had the luck of meeting the very leader of the military, Fleet Admiral Martin Bridge. We couldn’t get to the subject we wanted to talk about as part of our cover because of a curious crowd of people messing up the radio frequencies. We were invited to the communication channel of the military, and we headed for the Bretonia capital for a meeting without all the traffic passing by. Most of the high ranking people were alerted, and before we knew it, we were in the middle of the military’s attention.
It was a perfect opportunity to gather more intel on Bretonia, so with two of us doing the talking, the other took the liberty of scanning everything around us. (Again, every scan we made is included in the package at the end of this transmission) After a very interesting conversation, the war became the subject of attention. They asked us about the combat capabilities of ‘our’ enemies. We only gave the necessary information about Royal Navy’s fleet power, exalting the Valor warship especially.
Minutes later, the BAF spotted a Kusari Battleship heading to Leeds orbit. The Fleet Admiral mobilized all the pilots back to Leeds. He even asked us to follow the BAF battle group to Leeds in order to analyze Kusari Battleship compared to the Valor Battleship. The intruder was quickly shot down by the defenders, and gave us another opportunity to exalt the Valor. We hope the BAF realize their battleships won’t be able to match ours, so the Royal Navy will be able to strike the first blow.
Once the situation was under control, we moved again back to the capital system. From here, we began to discuss with the Fleet Admiral about sending supplies to Council forces in Gallia. In exchange, the Fleet Admiral proposed us hosting one of his agents in Council’s territory. Again, we got interrupted by a large fleet bearing Corsair IFF. And again, the BAF removed them. Seems they still have resources despite the fact they’re at war.
The BAF Command was not able to come back and continue after that. At the moment, we are staying at their capital planet,“New London”, until we know enough and come up with a new mission plan.
