I got slower levelling and some fixes and that one thing to make nights darker.
The fix for Veronica is kinda sorta a must. Made such a great difference. And dark nights with 1 Per. is insanely fun.

Boone's so badass he kills everything before I can aim down the sights. Only exception being Deathclaws, which have survived my sneak attack criticals with an Anti-Materiel rifle... I think I need a bigger gun.

For the Core.

It's the best one available, sniper-wise at least. The only other gun that does a higher one-time shot than the AM-Rifle is a special Gauss Rifle (energy gun).

If you get some .50 Cal Armor Piercing bullets, Guns +90 skill, AM-Rifle with a Sneak attack it should instakill Death Claws. Try to aim for the head, it usually gives you a solid kill. There is only one Deathclaw I know off that can survive that and its the Legendary Deathclaw.

You'd think so, but taking all points out of Luck and I think Per to max other stats wasn't my smartest idea ever. It also takes 2-3 clips from an Avenger to gun one down.

Caesar, on the other hand, walks through C4 like it's a daily occurrence. Not sure I even want to try guns on him.

I just finished this game on Friday and I gotta say, the decision you make is a genuine ambiguous moral decision. I definitely went the road of the NCR, and I found myself questioning it at the end. Great game in that respect, at least. Really, though, a good game in general. I've had a lot of fun playing through on my gun toting Sneaky-McSneakerson and I find myself wanting to try a lot of the different paths just for the sake of trying them. In that respect, I'd say New Vegas was more of a spiritual successor to Morrowind than Oblivion was an actual successor (this is me saying I actually approve a lot and like this game).:P

If there is an Elder Scrolls V, lets hope it turns out more like this game and less like the Elder Scrolls IV, agreed?
