Well, that happens not only there.
Try this: jump from 41 to 11, select stuttgart gates. F2. Take a rest and watch - you have a chance to see autopilot street magic.
Been getting friendly with Junkers in Penn. all day, in order to try and get the bribe for Rogues. When that failed, I did loads of missions against Xenos and i've gotten their affiliation (ID is Miner, ship is Hegemon); that gradually did some good but I noticed that, when I jumped into othersystems, hostility level for Rogues, Outcasts and Lane Hackers slightly raised.
I went to Texas system, Beaumont Junker base. Paid 1 million dollars there, two times, to get better reputation with Rogues; checked it, and they became friendly, whereas IMG became increasingly unfriendly (not yet hostile though). When I left the base, I was attacked by Rogue and Outcast NPCs; after checking my reputation with them I've noticed it went back to very hostile state, one I had before doing missions against Xenos.
After going back to Pennsylvania and spending 90 minutes hunting Xenos my reputation with Rogues, Outcasts and Hackers improved significantly; IMG, in return, became my 4th most hostile fraction. And again, after I docked to Allentown and checked reputation, the levels again reset themselves.
I've spent all day and literally all the money I've had left for nothing.

Not a bug. Miner ID is repninjaed hostile against the pirating factions. So you see behaviour according to how it is supposed to be. Want to become friendly with with those guys, loose the Miner ID.
Don't know if this is an error or not, but the IMG base in Omega 7 only has missions dealing with Corsairs, IMG enemies are listed as Outcast and BMM.
Also the IMG base in Omega 3 has a BMM person in the bar.
As you can see, there are 3 stars in the system. All 3 of them have coronas, colour etc, but only the one located at (0,0,0) is a light source, as demonstrated by this picture:
The ship is in orbit around Planet Mykonos, in Sector 7C. There is a star to the right of the ship, but it is not emitting any light, as is demonstrated by the dark ship.
I've analysed the 'hi20.ini' file under /DATA/UNIVERS/SYSTEMS/hi20, and have come to the following conclusions:
There are 3 entries for [Object], with 'star' attributes and 'sun' archetypes.
Quote:[LightSource]
nickname = HI20_system_light
pos = 0, 0, 0
color = 50, 180, 120
range = 100000
type = DIRECTIONAL
atten_curve = DYNAMIC_DIRECTION
I think the remedy would be adding 2 more [LightSource] entries to the .ini file.
Quote:[LightSource]
nickname = HI20_system_light_2
pos = 34000, 10000, -57000
color = 255,255,255
range = 100000
type = DIRECTIONAL
atten_curve = DYNAMIC_DIRECTION
[LightSource]
nickname = HI20_system_light_3
pos = 10000, -4000, 38000
color = 255,255,255
range = 100000
type = DIRECTIONAL
atten_curve = DYNAMIC_DIRECTION
However, I think that 3 stars will cause too much light to fall upon surfaces, which might even lead to white cut-off on certain surfaces, when combined with the ENBSeries plugin. Since, obviously, you're the devs, and know more about such stuff, I'm sure you'll know a suitable range of luminosities for each star for a 3-star system.
Quote:Gallic Navy missions (In Burgandy at least) are all haywire.
First, the waypoints are all hooky, they don't dissapear and go to the next one when you get to them.
The NPCs don't show up
You cant abort the mission, you have to log out then back in.
Grr.
This was around 5:00 GMT, and I havn't been able to check if it's any different yet. If it's still bugged, I'll show a SS.
So after taking a break for about a year I've decided to get back in to Disco. So yeah.
Bug in the Capture Prisoner missions offered by Rheinland Military NPCs. If the mission is taken and completed successfully, you get a mission failed message when you return the Escape pod to Battleship Altenburg, and rep decreases correspondingly.
I ran about 6 of these missions in a RM ID's and tagged Wraith and the same thing happened every time
<strike>Not sure if I can put this here, but I just ran across this about an hour and a half ago, gave up and tried again just now.
The problem is that the mission waypoint shows at both the originating mission base or what would be the "first" waypoint labelled as the #2 waypoint and the final destination (where the NPCs spawn) marked as waypoint #1.
Here's the screens to give an idea.
The left one was taken first, and then the right one was taken an hour and a half afterwards, after a freelancer restart. Both missions were taken from the Battleship Strausberg, with a Recruit IDed Wraith. I'll give it a few more shots and update if anything changes.
Update: Just tried again, to show that the waypoint doesn't go away when you get to #1.
Edit: Seems like others are having this problem as well, feel free to delete this if it is a common occurrence.</strike>
Indeed others are having this problem as well, I've simply never seen it manifest itself this way. Delete or leave up, I'll chalk it up to lag-based issues.
I take missions out of Pacifica in Bering and fly off to the waypoint.
When I get there, theres nothing there and nothing turns up. I can't abort the mission either although it does offer me the chance to. If I press 'abort', it just closes the mission screen but I remain on the mission and it's still active.
I log out and when I relog, the mission is gone and despite aborting/logging, my Unioner reputation has not changed for the worse.
It has happened once or twice before but just now happened four times on the trot.
I acept a mission leave the Base, but no instructions, only a waypoint appears. After reach the Waypoint the Mission dont starts.
I abort the Mission and leave Java, but after undock from Java the aborted Mission started new. Still buggy. I must relog to can realy abort the Mission
with friendly regards
