Senor yevan, now are we not biggest friends,but you have still my respect for the food delivery, but are you really really sure that all ships of all zoner groups delivred the same ammount as your ship?because you are saying it. And sorry i never saw 400 zoner whales to request dock on crete in the past year...
And when you are comparing zoners to IND, one ship docked at crete 9 times...and it was not carrying something from theta...

The onus is not on Zoners to deliver food. Our job is to provide it.

We had our Freeport open to your transports, and could supply food cheaply. Now, you found other sources, definitely more expensive, considering that we are closer to you, but you found them.

Then, you attacked us, not condemning is condoning, instead of calling off those who came home to you.

Really? More lies. The Zoners have not produced any evidence of Anarchists destroying food transports bound for Crete. How many times must I point out your lies before you stop saying them?

See this is more of your lies, you were trying to suggest the Anarchist attack food for Crete, when that is not the truth. You have not provided any evidence of of Anarchist ships attacking food transports bound for Crete, and you have not shown any evidence of the Anarchists attacking Port 9 outside of the attacked by a combined Corsair fleet. All these lies and attempts to separate the Corsairs show just how weak your arguments are. Maybe the Zoners should get someone to speak for them who is not so much of a liar.

The old man made his way up to the seat and sat down, listening to the Zoners comments he kept his face flat, mulling over the ideas in his mind, nodding his head slowly as the other man said his piece.

Well, as far as the Eta jumphole, I dont know nearly enough about the science to be able to comment about it, but I will say that before the developing of Omicron Eta, we had the same problems, in some way worse, as the Outcasts had to make a long trip to even get to the Freeport, and an even longer trip back. This made stopping at Freeport 9 even more vital for their operations.

As to the Freeport 9 No Fire Zone....
Well, I have what might be considered a crazy idea, but I am going to put it out there anyway. This is what I want from the Zoners in regards to Freeport 9, Freeport 5 and Corfu, now, I understand the Zoner Freeports are trading hubs , open to all, but I ask you, why are battleships, Cruisers and Gunboats required for trade? It is one thing to allow transports and snub craft of our enemies dock on your base, a mere 25k from our home, but I see no reason why any capital ship hostile to the Corsairs should be allowed to dock on Freeport 5 or 9 or Corfu. I dont see how it benifits the Zoners, I dont know how it benefits a sense of community between the Zoners and the Corsairs. These stations are well within the borders of Corsair space, and without a change in the policies of these stations, I cannot see any long term agreement between our two peoples lasting.

That is about docking, but the issue of the NFZ's is a somewhat separate discussion. One of the issues my men have faced most often is when they chase an offender into the NFZ, which would put that offender in violation of the past NFZ rules, yet it is the Zoners who intervene, more often than not, allowing the offender to dock, and chastising the Corsairs for their actions. What we look for is a change, at least in the Corsair region of space, something along the lines of "If you violate the NFZ rules, you know longer have the protection of them, and the Zoners will not step in to stop anyone from destroying you." I know that may be radical, but this is where past encounters have brought us.

I understand, and to be perfectly honest with you, I don't see Corsair cap ships as being a problem for you, we have our ships based on our own facilities. So there is no problem with restricting our capital ships from the freeports. I am also glad to hear your opinion on the NFZ, it is warming to see you understand our concerns when it comes to that matter. We have for too long seen capital ship after capital ship flee from Gamma only to make a line for Freeport 9, then sit outside taunting our forces, and then calling the Zoners and claiming the Corsairs as aggressor. To often the Zoners felt the need to side with our enemies in situations like this.

There are a few other issues that we need to discuss, and I guess we might as well get them out of the way now, because it will take you some time, I am sure to discuss the issues with your folks. First, food deliveries, we Corsairs are tired of the issue of food hanging over our heads every time we speak. This is not an acceptable situation. We Corsair expect to see regular, and I repeat, regular convoys of food and pharmaceuticals bound for Crete.

Now, we in the Corsair empire cannot expect others to take care of our responsibilities for us, and it was naive to think that would could depend on the Zoners to patrol Corsair space effectively. As such, we are going to actively assert our sovereignty over the southern area of Omicron Theta. Anything south of the Freeport and Corfu is Corsair space, and we will begin to patrol this area and enforce Corsair law there. We hope you can understand.

Lately, I have a request from the Corsairs of Gran Canaria. One they have made time and time again to the Zoners, only to be rebuked. The Corsair enclave on Gran Canaria, has been trying to expand, and while the Zoners seem happy to give way to every Bretonian request in expanding their settlements on the planet, the Corsairs have been stopped time and time again. This simple fact of the matter is that the Corsair enclave has outgrown the services set up for them. An expansion of the enclave and it's facilities is necessary, and to keep up with the food shipments needed for Crete, it's space port needs to be expanded and a new docking ring needs to be built to handle the traffic. The Corsairs expect to pay for all of these expansions and developments, but we do need the Zoners to approve the construction. This of course would go a long way toward developing a closer sense of codependency and community between the Zoners and the Corsairs.

Reading it now, they appear to be logs of some sort of conversation though and unfortunately, I was not privy to this conversation.

Firstly, I must tell you since the Zoner Alliance has broken down after the Anarchist slaughter, any talks regarding Gran Canaria must be taken up with whoever is there as Freeport 9 has none, or very little communication with them.

Secondly, food deliveries are unlikely to happen anytime soon. Every Zoner here really dislikes the Corsairs, for the death some splinter factions of your Empire caused to us. It will take time to repair this damage. However, I am sure not shooting us will allow any transports of your's to land and buy food, at a fraction of the cost you are purchasing them now.

Staging attacks and retreating to a Freeport is being dealt with, or has been already as far as I know. There should be no issues regarding this.

Omicron Theta has been known as a neutral system of the Zoners for some time. There will have to be discussion of the implementation of Corsair Law there, but I think ironing out the details will be the only issue, and it should work out as long as both parties come to discuss it.

Of course, this is just a representation of mine, and I will need to speak to Yevan Pushkin to understand a little better.
