Neither side is willing to admit there was any wrong-doing on their part, neither side is willing to accept that there's anything wrong with their current actions, both sides are quite willing to throw the blame for it onto the opposition, and from what I see, anyone who comes in with a neutral viewpoint is dragged or forced over unwillingly to one side or the other.
I think the Corsairs are underestimating how much supplies you need to support a planetary population of a planet with a diameter FIVE THOUSAND KILOMETERS LARGER THAN THAT OF EARTH.
I think the Zoners are severely overestimating how simple it is to survive next door to a hostile nation for longer than a few days.

I think the Corsairs are overestimating the amount of food that can be supplied by Samura, Hogosha, and related transports.

I think the Zoners are overestimating just how much support they have from other factions.

I think the Corsairs are underestimating heavily just how much of an effect opening yet another war front is to them.

I think the Zoners are underestimating just how hard it is to go up against one of the most powerful unlawful forces out there, one which has kept the Outcasts at bay for roughly THREE HUNDRED YEARS.

Well said. This is certainly true. All I can say is that over the last few months I have seen IND, Samura etc supplying food, and other supplies, to Omicron Gamma. I have not, however, seen anything like a similar level of Zoners supplying the same. That, I think, may well be one of the reasons for the current hostilities.

This is simply my observations in game. I make no claim that the Zoners haven't been supplying the Corsairs, simply that I haven't run across that many Zoner vessels hauling goods in the expected direction.

The RP the Corsairs have set down about getting supplies from other sources (I know, I was part of the Trafalgar faction of Junkers that did just that with the OPG) is sound. I echo the sentiment that just because it isn't documented on the forums, it has no bearing on the validity of the statement that it has been done.

Through all of this, I kind of get the feeling that if the Zoners were to up their runs of food, and similar supplies, to the Corsairs, the problems currently being experienced could quite easily be lessened considerably.

vayrn, are you saying crete has 5k x 6 billion people on the planet? hell naw!!

from what i know, corsairs have a total pop of ~ 200 million. let's assume one unit of food rations is a ton. how much food do you eat per year?

Thank you. You proved my point wonderfully.

Well, considering that most modern countries consume something around a ton of food per person per year on average, I'd say a lot.

This will be short answer since i am still in work, bigger will come when i will be home..

For those thst are saying that corsair must starve at all cost because it is in their rp...
Then how and why zoners called order/outcasts/scra/i dont know who to attack corsairs?their rp is ordering them to stay neutral at all cost and maybe use the hidden juggy fleet...

So one side can not other can???

And for those refering how corsairs need zoners food, why you was not thinking about it when you stopped delivers to corsair???why noone saw regular suplies of foods maked every day/week??? Where was then the part about how much corsairs need it???
Sorry boys but for me lot of zpners didnt cared about corsairs and rp between zoners and rp and started to care when corsairs decided to find food from other sides, and it is working...now you know that you are no longer so much useful and you can not use the biggest argument...

Baconsoda, Crete is a great joke, unless you were a German Fallschirmjäger or gebirsjäger, had big losses. And the vast majority made not by the Greeks (few troops they had already) but for New Zealanders, Australians and British.
You make the mistake obvious that there is a Zoner and accidental friends or not who may have the Zoner.

Change Crete for FP9, German troops for Sairs, Greeks for Zoner and allied troops for a very large list. If you can give me a winner, probably youll be wrong.

The Zoners have allies? Isn't that, well, excluding a characteristic of the NPC faction? ;)

Yes, make the German troops the Corsairs. I never said it would be a crushing victory, I said it would be akin to the battle for Crete. There may be surprises for the Corsairs. There may not be surprises. I said it would be akin to this battle in the sense that the Corsairs would win it simply because they are a very large, experienced, and eager combat force. Maybe the SCRA and GMG would come and help making the Corsair victory bittersweet, maybe they wouldn't and it would be a crushing Corsair victory. Right now, the biggest surprise the Corsairs have had is an amount of threads roughly equal to the Corsair population they need to justify their own RP interpretations in. I don't quite think that's a good RP move on the Zoner's part.

If a faction is attacked you better believe it they will use every method available to strike back. Including inviting all of those who want the said attackers dead.

Call it an Alliance. Don't call it an Alliance. It's what it is.

OH wait a minute... so this whole war started because YOU didn't see zoner whales taking food to Crete? Is that it? Well, a very nice reason to start a war:lol:On the same basis, I saw no warnings: "Bring us supplies or we come get it ourselves"

And yes, very interesting, isn't it that a faction that you attack makes alliances to repeal your attacks.;)

Okay, cool. Are we going to talk more hypothetical situations or are we going to log in at this point?:P

Olol, someone made an RP reaction which was different than textual communication over the forum! His RP is obviously horrible. I suppose that's funny, yeah. I guess it could be some sort of cosmic irony. Maybe dramatic. One of those.

EDIT: It means nothing to threaten anything with an OoRP hypothetical. It is fun for no one and it is rather a waste of time. What we all should be doing is taking our OoRP hypotheticals and making them happen inside the game. When we do that, it's fun for everyone (most of the time). Lets stop talking about what would happen to Theta, and start making things happen in Theta. There's a lot of OoRP talk I see, but whenever I look ingame, absolutely nothing. That's definitely not playing a war.

No mao,i was pointing on posts here that are stating that corsairs will die withou food delivered by ZONERS. This conflict started because corsairs found another resources of food, noone from zoners cared about it,and when corsairs rped another resources of food, that mean they dont need the zoners, zoner sdobt like that...
But why noone from zoners cared when corsairs start to searching other resources???
Why was their answer:we dont make profit,we will not deliver food.... And that was before the A showed in scenes....

got my point???
