The Wild is an invite only faction. This means that you must specifically be invited by a Wild faction member in order to be able to join.
We are currently not accepting unsolicited stories from anyone.
While we're at the topic of role play excellence, when is the Rheinland military supposed to tell if they're facing a Wild ship and when do we have to play along with the "disguise" RP? After all, we already know of Hans Eckhard's infestation and yet we play along with his disguise because as said before, he does the figure well.
But in a lot of other cases, the RM get ignored/engaged without having much time to prepare due to the other side not really saying much. I understand if that is the wild role play, but it would be only fair if we could have some warning when we're going to be obliterated without having the chance to prepare while boldly playing along with the disguise RP which the other side may not even follow, yet complain when he doesn't get treated appropriately.
So in short, if we as in the RM, get the no-role-play role play, we'll respond with the same treatment unless anyone actually bothers elaborating when we're supposed to tell we're facing a wild and when your high up-selves decide to go undercover. But I don't really like it that you expect us to mistake you for friendlies and treat you as such only to be blasted into oblivion a minute afterwards.
I'd also like to speak about some issues which I won't disclose here, to someone in the leadership if there's even such a thing.
I've had one encounter with a wild....I was still relatively new to the server at the time, so I still didn't know much about them....
Regardless, the rp wasn't stellar, however, it was certainly fitting....
All I heard was "You there"...."Return to Stardust", and the individual commenced to blowing up my firefly, although he did engage me with some cool "we are not angry we are at peace" sort of stuff....
Overall, the experience made me fear my next encounter with the wild, so I think it was a success, and "return to stardust" is just a cool line. :P
Now I've heard some absolutely great things about you guys, and I'm not trashing your faction, your rp abilities, your faction's rp, or anyone in your faction, but I've had four interactions with you guys, and all but one of them consisted of literally two lines of RP, which I strongly suspect were setmsg'd, and then being shot before having a chance to respond.
I did not engage cruise engines, and in fact stopped my ship completely in every single one of these instances, in order to try and RP at least a bit before the pewpewing, which is pretty much inevitable with you guys.
I'd prefer to not name names, especially since I really can't remember names very well, but I would like to see a tad more effort put in. I know that RPing a Wilde must be very hard, and you were probably expecting me to cruise away without a word, but if everyone assumes the worst about everyone else automatically, then it's not really very fun for anyone, now is it?
On another note, (I also shall not name any names here, either,) and this is mostly directed at the Aoi Isejein but I figured I should post it here as well, at least, is that Wilde and Aoi players complain about being metagamed, but you use nomad equipment, Wilde ID, and Wilde IFF.
Now, the in-character existence of IDs is a debatable subject, (I personally would prefer them to be out of character, but that's just me,) and I've seen even admins disagree whether they're an OOC game mechanic item, or an in-RP item. Barring that, please don't try and tell me that guns and IFFs aren't roleplay things that our character would actually see. No humans, save the Order, (and, in a top-secret fashion, the BHG Core,) have the technical expertise to modify alien technology to be compatible with human technology. I would say that it's fairly suspicious to sense energy signatures previously only detected on hostile alien vessels emanating from a ship already acting suspicious.
In addition to that, Wilde IFF. That is the most annoying thing I feel the need to mention. I think it would be better for everyone if you didn't use the IFF, or even if it was removed. Members of your faction (and the Aoi Isejein, as well - again, not naming any names, here, not trying to be accusatory, just pointing out what I've seen as a recurring trend in the past,) often complain that people metagame them, but yet, you use IFF transponders that have only been seen on hostile vessels that attack with little to no warning.
All in all, I'm absolutely sure you're all great roleplayers, however, my interactions with the majority of you, both IC and OOC, haven't been very fun for me, and I'm not sure if they've been much fun for you, either. Simply feedback, but then again, that's what this thread is for. Thanks for reading my textwall.:ylove:

Only the full human equipped ships we complain about, if it's got Nomad Equipment, it's not trying to hide anything, only decieve.
The cries of metagaming are done about the Human equipped ships, but half the faction use KNF IDs so it's not really a problem anymore.
@Akura, Kaiwren, that's exactly why I asked when are we supposed to tell when it's a Wild ship engaging us "in surprise" or when we can expect the pretense RP.
