So did I.

I have no idea how much food you can move in a ship because there's no way to define how much "food" is in a "unit" of cargo.

Yes, because clearly, you are not trying to troll here. Less shiny white knight and hypocrisy, more spine please.

And no before you try (note: try) to be witty, I do not acknowledge your statement about calling specifically me a moron. But you are indeed targeting someone and by default you are subtly trying to hide a rather badly planned insult.

Failing that, the contraband was given to her by the Bretonian Armed Forces Admiral.

Hey I was just echoing what the Bretonians said, from their point of view he broke the law. And that is what I was saying. According to them they had real hard evidence of Tomoe breaking the law. If you want to discuss the validity of that you are talking to the wrong person.

It was from the Zoner's point of view that Tomoe did not break the law, and instead decided that the best course of action would be to invite over four factions to defend the Freeport of Omega-3 against a house. Now at this point you will once again argue that you didn't invite anybody, but that they came on their own free will. And as much as that is completely bull****, it doesn't really matter. Because the fact remains, you accepted their aid and presence which means from the Bretonia house point of view, you have now sided with known criminals. You keep trying to place "us" Corsairs or the [A] or whatever, as primitive creatures who only know how to shoot people, but it is you and the people who were present in that situation that did the exact same thing you are trying to label us as.

Diplomacy failure at its best. And you refuse to accept this deadly mistake that cost you your former relationship with the Corsairs because it was your mistake and not ours. If it had been ours, you would have been shouting it across every thread that discusses this topic.

Now come on and say "cool story bro" for the fifth-hundred time or summarize my text in a single sentence, "eh".

How a player faction excludes a characteristic of the NPC faction?

He lied/exagarrated/distorted the truth in an effort to fool the Zoners. I guess this thread can end now.

Coin was simply making a point, and you denigrate his position by simply calling it fail. He's making the point from the perspective of a Corsair - which is really the biggest issue we have here, that the two main parties involved have different role-play perspectives. And when one of those parties decided to not do something that follows their normal role-play, they start complaining on the forums and to the admins about it being unfair and asking admins to step in.

The Freeports are still basically trans-shipment places - they're like the trucking company distribution centers that we have here on earth now. They have the added bonus of providing some fresh food and such, but it's completely unrealistic to assume that a solitary space station can provide enough food for an entire planetary population.

Oh, and fencing stolen goods simply requires someone who is quasi-legal. It doesn't require Zoners - Junkers can do that quite nicely, too. (So can Freelancers, for that matter...)

To be honest, that is the most hilariously hypocritical statement of this week. But, this whole Freeport 9 thing "flare-up" was not started by me, since I was away, and if you read threads like you say you like to, you will notice I did not participate in the vote, since I was doing other stuff in RL. (However, you are welcome to go against logic as usual, since I notice you vote for the Tea Party and all that.)

I find it ironic that the Corsairs who require food, are calling the Zoners lazy sods for not delivering it, when they are also too lazy to go and get it from the Freeport. So yes, I will call someone's failure on that.

A junker station in the Omicrons? Brilliant tale, chap.

The statement was aimed at Dusty Lens and anyone else who was trying to meta-game Mike Rotch as an Omicroner, which he is not even by secret parts of his RP, but for you to know that basic comprehension skills would be required. Less conspiracy theory please.

Wrong person indeed.

I was not part of Zoner leadership at the time. Just another independent. Calling me out on poor actions will not stick.

However, you are most welcome to paint me as the picture of evil for supposed flaming, whilst it is your signature which is "subtly trying to hide a rather badly planned insult".

However, it was a riveting exposition, comrade.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

OH for the love of God!

Igiss, create a system that lies between Gamma and Theta and remove the dang jumphole in Theta that leads to Gamma.

And in that new system give the corsairs 3 dockable planets that makes enough food that feeds them and also makes food production their new export!!!

The reset did not work so let's try this.

we're too busy piratin' and murderin' to transport food.

junkers are in new london, and thats not a million parsecs away from cadiz.

smugglers (e.g. one of my alts) regularly ships food and artifacts between trafalgar and crete.

to be perfectly honest, the zoner presence in theta was an irritant to the corsair empire, a thorn in the side that was tolerated for its benefits, and, if i'm allowed to mix my metaphors here, you decided to ride the tiger, and you're now complaining that you've been bitten when you wanted to get off. this conflict stems from a simple misunderstanding. Zoners have mistakenly considered that the corsairs 'are just like us'. we're not. we're not a trading faction, we're a sovereign nation; we have laws, and government and an oodleplex of itchy-trigger-fingers attached to blood-thirsty and flesh-hungry pilots.

do you think that you are the GMG and can hold off the might of rheinland? perhaps you could. but then again, the corsairs are not rheinland, and we play much much dirtier.

Climbing into our ships means combat. your average zoner is not a battle-hardened combat vet, but a transport captain; he may well be wealthy enough to purchase a private yacht of his own, that has a complete set of the very best armaments that zoners can manufacture, but thanks to the attentions from the outcasts, we know how to deal with capital ships, and in fact view them as tasty morsels.

what im trying to say here is this: if you stick to your knitting, we'll stick to ours.
if you get back to the business of making money, we can go back to the life of expanding our territories. for time out of mind, you have been welcome guests in our home. lets not upset the status quo over this storm in a teacup.

The answer is they do not. They are usually constantly moving it, so it has very little still-time in the holds of the base.

If that is what you mean? Unless you mean production?

(Also, missed this question amongst the horde of things. Not trying to ignore you.)

This is a much better post than your previous one.

It is much easier to understand and shows a Corsair viewpoint quite fairly.
