Hopefully. Though, taking in consideration how hard they are to kill, I plainly freaked out when I saw a place with 10-12 of those things at once. Jeez. X.x Didn't even last 2 seconds. Perception of those things seems to be insane. I have a Perception of 8 and those things detect me from far, far away before they even decide to show up on the compass.
Screw that, time to finally get to New Vegas itself, didn't yet get to the city.
A couple of hours later edit:
K. Stuff's going better. Found some good armor and a Laser RCW along with a recycler to attach to it. Feels much better now. Now I've just got to get those ECP's somewhere.
Oh god. Suddenly, the plasma rifle restored my faith in humanity. Pretty damage for an energy weapon and like each second shot is a critical one.
Finally the damn robots go down in two shots, not twenty.
Gotta love the New Vegas quests. When I've had a bug when just arrived to the Tops casino for the first time, while F9-ing I found out like three ways to go through the quest. That's awesome.
' Wrote:On another note altogether, anyone notice the massive western part of the map that is completely blank?
There's simply nothing there.
At all.
It's because there is only one path through those mountains that leads to the Great Khans base. My Silenced Sniper Rifle was the perfect tool for... dealing with them.
I swam the entire length of the Colorado looking for a way to get to the Legion bases (I had killed all of the people at the port that has the boat which takes you to the camp, so couldn't do that). The only part of land I found was a small patch which I believed would work. It was guarded by about ten Deathclaws, which took me quite a few attempts to deal with. And then there was no route through. Q_Q
I need a console command to set my reputation neutral to the Legion and spawn the man who takes you up to the camp. I want to be able to keep the dam intact and functional with the extra robots, and I want a throne to sit on.:P
I completed the game now, level 31 (with the 100 level mod). If they release a mod that continues the game after you complete the main campaign I'll make a new character, seeing as I want to keep the dam functional and make some changes to my current character.
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.
' Wrote:Edit: also, Tomtomrawr, fappin' like a boss.
Fortification Hill or Legate's Camp? Not sure if you can get to the latter, former can be reached by simply walking up to the raft. I had Boone in my party at the time who gave me a chat dialog, but not sure if it's needed.
You can definitely just walk up to the raft to get to the Fort. You don't need to keep that one guy alive. It's difficult to clear, though, so have fun.:P
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
I feel like a RoboCop. (1/2 of a body in metal armor in the SS is my randomly-found companion Cass)
Though. Stuff's going awesome, very much so. Finally had my revenge on the damned Cazadors and Fire Geckos.
Anyone knows how exactly "being healthy" and amount of implants you can have are related? I have one implant now and I don't know how many can I install. Need to think of a set.
Character's Endurance is 4, I guess that's about being healthy.
EDIT: Also. Somewhere earlier in the thread someone said that with high Luck you win in the Casinos far more often. Guess that's bugged for me. Luck 8 and I lost roughly 7 times out of 8. Applies to any game, let it be slots, blackjack or roulette.
The YCS-168 Gauss Rifle seriously rocks and if by any chance something actually makes it up close (usually because of a mob) good ol' Love and Hate finnshes up what's left over. ;)
