Heres a little factoid for you, almost everytime we kill someone, they think its unfair.

This is interesting. There are factions that kill more people and more often than Phantoms and yet their feedback threads contain less drama.

Something to think about, maybe?

That's my only Phantom encounter so far. No-one died, seeing as the three Navy gunboats and two bombers flew away. Still left a bit on an 'eh' impression on me though. I mean, I'm not going to consider it a good or bad interaction because people did or did not die, but rather because of the content of the interaction. Really, there wasn't much content from the Phantom side of things there.

I dunno. I guess I was just expecting something a little more sophisticated than 'ISANITT', 'mwuahahah' and 'Dum dee dum' from the server's rolepaying elite.

Uhm, where does that say "fairplay over roleplay?" I was actually there for this little encounter. You announced our presence to the entire system, effectivly diming us out to the law and in rp ruining our night. We responded by blowing you up. Seems like a legitimate rp response to me. Heres a little factoid for you, almost everytime we kill someone, they think its unfair. You did something in rp that had consequences, how is it unfair to make you stand by the consequences of your actions?

Be excellent to one another. Consider the people around you. Keep fair play in mind. It's a game and nothing is gained, or lost, save the experience. Credits can be re-earned. Ammunition replenished. If you become infuriated step away. If you make a mistake apologize. If you wish to remain in system after you die, or after someone has moved away, simply ask.

Fair play, a level head and consideration for others.

I see,so I can get attacked for being a newbie,excellent.Plus,you phantoms can't even blow me up,even with all your uber weaps.And,I don't think this is unfair,I think this rp should not be accepted by you guys,you guys are PHANTOMs,you've got all these SRP priviliges which we normal folks don't have.You're supposed to be good at rping,if this is only what the Phantoms do,I'll bet I can get in in no time

Yes, it is, I think there are a number or reasons for that, first note the lack of a feedback threads for the Nomads, and wilde the other factions with the type of free rules ID we have, so we are kinda the only ones people can complain about in this way. Add to that, that many people want to be Phantoms who arent accepted, or who dont try to apply, who then have an ax to grind against the faction, and do so by telling everyone they can how awful the Phantoms are and how unfair they are as a faction.

You're right, it is interesting that a faction that plays by the server rules gets so much negative feedback. You can bet if we broke the rules, we would get crucified for it, as has happened in the past when there have been problems from the Phantoms. We expect to get ripped into when we do wrong, because we have a higher standard of responsibility to the rules because of our ID. But sadly, even when we follow the rules and do what we are supposed to, we get the same amount of grief. People don't like to be blown up, people don't like to be denied entry into a faction they want to join, and this feedback thread gives them a place to gripe. I think that is the cause for the situation.

The phantoms kill everyone and everything. I can pretty much guarantee you that everyone here has died at least once from a phantom, so no worries my friend. Also, they don't have uber weps. (Or ships from what I've heard.)

No, you didnt get attacked for being a newbie, you got attacked for announcing the presence of the Phantoms to the entire system. That is an appropriate inrp response to what you did. If anything you should have learned something about the server, that for every action there is a result. You out the Phantoms, there is going to be a result, expecting there not to be is frankly, silly and selfish.

I actually dont care I pew pew people with one line too sometimes because they spam cruise and cms and I have no other choose but if you speak about "quality" of Phantom RP and etc please dont be ridiculous .....
