If I were plying my trade around the bases of sirius, i would invest in customising my ship (read: fleet) with a huge amount of mines (more than 70 ammo anyway), so that when i was fleeing from those nasty ol' pie-rats, i could chuck some whizz-bangs between their teeth.

Maybe a special mine that has negliable hull/sheild damage, but can knock someone outta cruise?

Agreed, mines should deflect flight paths of enemies (or your unfortunate self) more, make them flying the at the opposite direction.

CM's do work, you just have to not have them as green on your weapon list.

Its better if you use them when you need them, just hold down the CM drop button when a pirate is spamming train CD's.

Ive never lost doing that.
