Middle click then move the mouse. Interestingly the function feels different for different browsers-

Internet Explorer: Absolutely terrible. Do not even try and middle click + drag it is just shocking.
Google Chrome: Decent drager but horrible icon things.
Firefox: By far the best the icon is even translucent;)

Ye, same here, I also use mouse wheel from time to time.
Yes feels different for different browsers. You have one update/upgrade to install for Google Chrome so it goes really smooth.
