Topic: Succesfull invasion on rheinland.

Xiger: By last weeks, I was not sending any raports form my gunboat wing operations, we had many fights, some won, some lose.
For example Battle again Phantoms in magelan, where enemy lost 1 bomber and 1 destroyer, when we lost 3 subs, however Phansoms were forced to retreat.
Other day in alaska we happen to get trouble with some Order geb pilots, some of tham we escort to alaska, however we could not resist to shot down 1 order gunboat and 1 order geb as a lesson for Order to not enter to alaska so often ( Geb, order light carrier ).
And other time when we shot down 3 rheinland gunboats in bering, however on our way back my gunboat was captured by RM forces by suprice, I tryed to escape but it failed, lucky rescue team took my rescue pod.

However those events took time in last weeks, so I wont tell any more about it.


The main raport is about succesfull invasion on Hamburg.
I know that main frontline is in Bering and Hudson, and we happened to have some battles there, still, RM fighter pilots were getting advantage by sending they best pilots to battle.

Gunboats LNS-Assault1, LNS-Logos-Assault10, LNS-Stile-Assault9, with 1 heavy fighter cover, pilot name Jack_Hammer, jumped to hamburg.

We hoped to lure enemy forces to bering and finish tham there, however after we shot down 1 cruizer patrol, there was still no enemy forces counterattacking.

10 minutes later we decided to move closer to planet Hamburg, where on tradeline we found rogue gunboat, after we moved to get some info from him, 1 RNC gunboat ( pilse/BR set up ), with 1 bomber and 1 BS support attacked us.



I m not sure what happened to Rogue gunboat, I think he attacked us and escaped or was shot down.
However we shot down RNC-Freya ( gunboat ) in battle.
I noticed that enemy BS was damaged, he probably not finished repairs and moved to battlefield without preparation, so I ordered fighter to attack enemy bomber and all gunboats to shot BS.



It took some doing, actualy longer than I expected, but we finaly managed to shot it down.

My gunboat wing lost half of regens so I decided to do recon close to planet hamburg and next move to back for repairs.
However it was very unexpected, RM wing showed up and made they attack, there was no way to escape form it, our only option was to fight.



Lucky for me, half forces attacked Assault9, and 2 pilots attacked me, I ordered others to cover Assault10, when I was fighting 2 enemy subs, I managed to shot down 1 of those rokies, however Assault10 was under heavy fire.
The good think was that Assault5 was on his way to hamburg to assist us, he was in texas on his way.



Enemy was still getting reinforcement, Assault10 was shot down, it seems that battle with battleship run out our nano bots to 50% or less, making us easter target, however, we managed to shot down another rheinland bomber.
RNC-Borna tryed to slow down Assault5 but was shot down insted.



Assault9 was taking heavy damage, we managed to shot down another bomber and I decided to sendall nano bots I had to Assault9 , and a bit later Assault5 come to assist.

Another enemy fighter or bomber was shot down by Navy heavy fighter Jack_Hammer, I must say, he was realy good in covering our gunboats.

However not everythink go under plan, enemy forces noticed that I gove all nano bots to Assault9, and hit me with all they got, Assault9 tryed to send me regens, but it was taking more than 1 minute my gunboat was shot down.

It seems more enemy come to battlefield, Jack_Hammer and Assault9 were shot down after me.
But not everythink end bad, Assault5 managed to escape to jump hole to bering, he Hired 2 Mercenary bomber pilots and together with tham he shot down 2 rhienland gunboats, and after it, he managed to escape back to Liberty, I m sure it was worth money he paid.



RNC-Sorest and Dieter were shot down, both gunboats.

What is the best part in this invasion is on picture Assault5 made, he noticed high number of SCRA units in Hamburg.
After Assault5 escaped, SCRA started to attack Rheinland with alot forces, shoting down many RM pilots and more RNC ships.

I m sure after this attack and SCRA invasion in Hamburg rheinland defenses are weaker.

Today I was on patrol with a fresh recruit named Simon Sartori and ensign Jacob Beumont. After helping recruit Sartori set-up his vessel we received a report from ensign Beumont that a Rogue Gunboat and a Rogue Fighter were identified. Once we arrived to the scene it seemed like ensign Beumont had kept things under good control. The Gunboat was fined for bringing a hostile aligned war-vessel into Liberty's capital system, New York, and the Rogue fighter was told to depart from the scene.

The situation was handled peacefully, but as soon as these two pilots left a Legionnaire appeared out of nowhere. He was carrying several Liberty Navy pilots in his hold and so I ordered the Navy pilots under my command to engage the target.

However, it seemed recruit Sartori wanted to prove his worth and requested to solo the Legionnaire. Reluctantly I agreed but it seemed he has still a lot to learn so I ordered ensign Beumont to go in as well. Unfortunately during this time the Legionnaire had managed to slip away.

We continued our patrol towards Planet Manhattan and stumbled upon a pilot named Alexis Glover who had just finished shooting down a Liberty Navy pilot as we arrived. I took no chances and went in to try take the target down. A Mandalorian flew by and offered assistance which I gladly accepted. It seemed however that this Alexis Glover was too much for me to handle and so my ship received a critical double-nuclear mine hit that would have killed me if I hadn't managed to reach for the emergency-lifepod. I'm still alive, but I can't say the same for my ship.

Greetings Ma'am's and Sir's,

Upon being promoted to Ensign which I thank Admiral Anderson. I immediately hopped in my already-equipped Avenger Fighter and started patrol in Norfolk Shipyard, New York system. I took WP lane and found nothing unusual and then to Manhattan at which point, Vice Admiral Malrone contacted me to proceed to Texas about a disturbance. I checked the LRS for any signs of intruders and true to fact. Houston control reports of a RNC in Texas. Vice Adm Malrone together with several secondary captains were conducting training exercises in Connecticut. He immediately rallied them and proceeded to Texas. The Vice Adm stopped a smuggler carrying Artifacts:

Upon scanning the vessel, I found him to be carrying a Researcher ID to which he used as an excuse for transporting the previously scanned cargo. Vice Adm Malrone insisted that he dropped his cargo. The suspect, Hammerhead1487, engaged cruise and the Minneapolis immediately fired on the ship. Alas the ship was able to escape as I have equipped the wrong CD for the job. The Vice Adm allowed me to chase the ship. To my great gratitude, two other pilots helped me corner the smuggler: [LN]Chris.Elias and TF7|SK-M.Brown. When we cornered the ship. He was trying to engage cruise so we opened fire on it until it gave up. On a side note, he also spoke a language undetectable by any of our ships. The Gunboat opened fire when M.Brown was in front of it. He almost got destroyed by the ship but thanks to his quick reflexes he ultimately avoided destruction of his ship. The combined firepower of our ships plus the Nuclear mine made quick work of the ship.

After this Chris and I went for another round of patrol around NY. M.Brown had some papers to sign and had to dock at West Point. Near the Connecticut system, we found a Rheinlander by name of RM.Jarek. He was in a 19-ARKM-N82 "Mjolnir" Rheinland Super Heavy Fighter. We told him to either get back in the Arena System or go back to Rheinland escorted. He chosed the latter and upon entering Norfolk, He actually opened fired on Chris. The Mjolnir was too slow for our fighters and we got to damaged it badly. Sadly Chris' ship was destroyed by what he though were Cannonball missiles. Those missiles were actually Nova Torpedoes. Both of them we caught in the blast. After that I proceed to write this report.

I was patroling New York when i came across a Rogues named Bad.Hair.Day. I told him to leave and he did. After i flew away a ship called yyyyy was attacked and killed by Bad.Hair.Day. I assembled a few fighter and told the Rogue to meet us at west point to discuss what we would do about it when a Rogue Gunboat showed up. [LN] craft were passing by when this was happening and they came to discuss with us. Soon Bad.Hair.Day was showing hostility towards us when he rammed my ship forcing me to open fire. After i was ordered to stop shooting by Beumont. soon those ships left. And then a Hellfire ship showed up and after not compling with the [LN] orders was attacked by [LN] forces i was ordered to resume my patrol and arrived at a rogue fighting a Bounty Hunter near Manhatten i engaged the rogue but my engines were damaged his nuclear mines so i had to abandon my fighter. Shortly after i abandoned my fighter the [LN] forces showed up engaged the Rogue. I was picked up by a recovery craft and taken back to Norfolk shipyard. I do not know what happened to the [LN] forces after that. I am currently wauting for a new fighter and will be resuming my patrols shortly

Second day of my patrol went as close as the last one. Met a group of pirates near Manhattan-West Point Lane who were demanding Liberty Rogues from pilots. They also tried to take mine.

Reinforcements arrived from training exercises in Connecticut. Captain Zanders immediately took command of the situation and ordered the pirates to leave. Once the pirates said "no", Captain Zanders ordered us to fire. The Liberty Rogure escaped and the Hacker was left to fend for himself. Captain Zanders ordered me, Lt Jack Will, and Dante to handle the Hacker. The Hacker tried to surrender but Lt Kapinos keep pounding the guy until he was destroyed. A Freelancer was also engaged by Captain Zanders. He was found to be assisting the pirates. The skills of the Captain made short-work of the man.

During the course of the entire fight, I overheard Captain Zanders stating that a nearby Freelancer, Black.Icarus, watching the fight was in connection with the Order; however, since the freelancer didn't commit any crimes. She was forced to leave Liberty in her own choice of exit, which was Bretonia. I was given the chance to escort her to which I complied. She followed without question.

We stopped at Planet Los Angeles. It seems that she had a sister-in-law and her daughter to take care of. She spoke with an AI and then eventually took the lane to Cortez JG. We parted ways after that and almost immediately after that I spotted a Falcata Bomber holding Liberty Navy pilots inside his hold. To my surprise, he complied without any fuss.



Almost immediately after dealing with that, I spotted two pirates:

They left the area without any questions. After that I docked at Riverside and proceeded with this report whilst eating lunch.

Greetings, LSF and LN.

Earlier this evening The Order was lurking around Kansas. Me and a LN/LSF patrol was patroling around Kansas, when they suddenly dissapeared, and we heard reports of them being at Pennsylvania.

We turned back, and went as far as New York's Z21 area, where we found them. Multiple fighters were sighted.
The battle was long and not amusing at all: we lost =LSF=Hansen, currently hospitalized. In the heat of the battle, the OCV Olympic, a "Geb" Light Carrier, a modification of the infamous Osiris, had a grave failure and the crew had to eject off the ship. After dealing with the fighters, 2 hackers decided to show up and try to hack the Alaska Jump Gate. They were dealt with by the Navy.

With the ship unpopulated, my co-pilot, David Johansen (who'se nickname is "Dave"), experienced hacker and technician, managed to breach the Olympic's security and convinced the ship that we were allies. We took the opportunity to ask the ship's AI some questions:

*Two days ago, Olympic was damaged by explosions, caused by bombs, from somewhere within the ship. It activated jumpgate, that pulled Olympic to other system. Followed by Order rescue party, last record indicates they were trying to get classified Evora Shipyard. Contact was lost somewhere around minefield in NY system.*

Dave: May I know what system was the Olympic pulled to, as mentioned earlier?

*System that was not yet discovered. It had some signs of Alien presence*

Dave: What were the signs of alien presence? Structures, etc?

*Olympic's scanner picked up several planets, jump hole, and structure, that's similiar to today's Trade Lanes.*

Dave: How did the structure look like? Did the JH present some sort of unknown anomalies? Did the "lanes" work?

*Lanes were inoperable. There were no anomalies within JH. Olympic scanner picked up lane as structure.*

Dave: Did the lanes point to somewhere? Like today's lanes?

*5 lane rings were pointing to jump hole.*

Dave: What about the other end of the Lane?

*Beginning and end of lane rings were in close proximity. There is no logic in that*

Dave: What were the system's hazards? Like asteroid fields, radiation damage, etc?

*Strong radiation was present in whole system. That was one of things that damage Olympic's engines.*

Dave: Right. Were Nomads present in the system?

*No alien organisms were present in system, in the time of scan*

Dave: Were you able to identify the system's alien structures as Nomad's or other alien species by any chance?

*Lane rings were Nomad - in design*

Dave: Alright... here's my final question: Is anyone aboard the Olympic at the moment?

*Olympic has been abandoned, by order of Vladimir Makarov*

We suspect that this "jump gate" mentioned by the ship is at Kansas, acording to =LSF=Hansen at the time of the patrol.

After the questioning, David hacked the ship further so it would be convinced that Navy and LSF are friendly to it. We moved to Alaska, and made it dock to Juneau Shipyard, where it is grounded at the moment.

So far, the Olympic is on our side. I have told the crew down at Juneau to gather as much info from the ship that Dave and I could've forgotten to ask. Now, I suggest we use it for our own purpose or destroy it, before The Order becomes aware of it's capture.

Sirs,

This evenings training was interesting and eventful. I found the tutorship of Zanders quite interesting and as such have now taken on board a new Mini Razor. I debate whether I am a good shot or not with it - However it certainly took a piece of Ensign Barney Ross's hull in an early session. John and I sparred a bit where John seems to have a very curious setup. It seems like he is more geared to the spray damage, where I am a harder hitter. This may seem a good approach, time will tell.

On a more annoying note, I was having a beer in the bar when I got a shout that there was an RM fighter in system! In New York!

The coward then jumped out of the tradelane to Norfolk, simply stated that he was "engaging" (Who I have no idea) and proceeded to shoot at me. How nice of him? I got him acquainted with my hammers to remove his shield and with one of my nuke mines. I only had to drop 4 this time to kill him. A personal best. Perhaps it is best that this Rheinlander is floating around so far from home - I'm not going to go pick him up.

Quite an eventful day.

• Several lower-ranked pilots expressed an immediate increase in effectiveness during cooperative combat.
• All lower-ranked pilots gained an increased knowledge of general cooperative combat behaviour and the importance of proper teamwork.
• All lower-ranked pilots followed precise orders.
• The majority of lower-ranked pilots evaluated the training exercise to be "helpful".

ANALYSIS:

• Continued training on dodging techniques are required. Lower-ranked pilots need to be able to survive longer sustained fire inflicted towards them during combat.

• Continued analysis of key weak-points in lower-ranked pilots will be assessed and addressed in future training exercises. I'm confident in that our current system of training where we focus on cooperative-styled combat will prove to aid these pilots in real-time battles.

BATTLE REPORT
- NEW YORK SYSTEM (Coordinates: Foxtrot-Five)

Fighter-wing under the command of Admiral Galen Anderson were sent to Zone-21 in an attempt to intercept incoming Order vessel originating from the Pennsylvania system. Order targets were confirmed to approximately seven Fighters whom were escorting what-seemed-to-be a damaged Order Recon Vessel. Battle took place near the surrounding mine-fields. The majority of the Order Fighters were shot down, however several managed to breach through our blockade along with the Order Recon Vessel. My vessel got blown up due to a small-scale ion storm which corrupted my navigational system and lead to a direct contact with the mine-field. However, Lieutenant Hank Kapinos managed to retrieve my escape-pod.

- SMUGGLER (Nomad contraband)

First nomad-smuggler was identified in the California system. Target was intercepted but he decided to rather end the fate of his ship with the sun than to stand down. Target was later found near Fort Bush along with his companion whom also was carrying nomad items. Both targets were subsequently shot down for refusing to hand over said items. Requesting immediate withdrawal of these two pilots' docking rights with Liberty affiliated stations.

Long story short... I have successfully acquired a Upholder - Li-117 Liberty Bomber and upon passing the lane to Norfolk from Texas. I found this:


It was a OC Tridente... I hoped it would be a nice practice target for my new bomber but the Gunship fled after we intended to open fire. I also noticed some pilots he had on his hold. I couldn't save them as the gunship had some protection against my CD.

I told the Captain to leave. He didn't believe me at first but after he check the Laws of Liberty. He eventually left Liberty. In one of my most interesting discoveries yet, I chased a Outcast Destroyer inside Pittsburgh Debris Field. Some where along the way I lost it, and instead of finding the Destroyer I instead found this:

I forgot to add a wee-bit of another discovery I found:

A Junker smuggling cardamine right infront of me. He disregarded my order to halt and proceeded to dock with Planet Manhattan after that he undocked. I accused him of smuggling to which to refused to admit it. Several times did he try to escape, an LSF bomber named Interceptor came to help me dispatched by Junker Frigate. It was easily destroyed by our SNAC's. On a side note, the Junker opened fire whilst fleeing. Sadly though my bomber got caught in the gravitational pull of Manhattan I ejected before I was killed... the LSF Agent tractored my escape pod. After I
boarded the Douglas, I found him again:

Complete with a new ship... IT must be some-kind of new Junker tech... The Agent stopped him again... asking him how he got a new ship. After repeated attempts to flee, he opened fire on the agent, busting the shields. They immediately returned fire and destroyed the ship again. After that I proceeded to write this report.
