Sub-Entry #1

Smuggling Run; Planet Malta --> Planet Manhattan
  • We picked up a full load of cardimine on Malta. They're always happy to see us take that crap someplace profitable.
  • The flight to Liberty was exceptionally calm. Not a single Bounty Hunter, Colonial, or law enforcer to be seen.
  • We stopped at Barrier Gate in Coronado for a quick refuel.
  • California seemed to be empty. The only person we met was a Rogue, Marauder. Seemed to be a nice fellow.
  • New York wasn't really different. Except for Manhattan orbit. There were two Navy fighters and a gunboat, but we were able to moor before they noticed us.
  • So, now my account is fatter by ten million credits. Very good.

Sub-Entry #2

Hanging around over Manhattan
  • After unloading the cardimine we unmoored as quickly as possible. Didn't want any custom officers nosing around.
  • In orbit we met two Navy pilots, a gunboat, a Zoner, and a freelancer.
  • One of the Navy pilots blabbered something about the Folly being an illegal ship. Something about slavery. Of course I didn't know what he was talking about, so he let us go.
  • I then headed down to my quarters to have some fun with Angelica. Mister Kinley took over on the bridge, and from what he told me, he had a little talk with the people out there. The freelancer seemed to be provoked by the Zoner, which I thought was kind of ridiculous.
  • We ended up getting a call from Rochester; a load of superconductors was waiting for a trip down to Aland Shipyard in Omega-3.

Sub-Entry #3

Superconductors; Rochester --> Aland Shipyard
  • So, we loaded the superconductors onto the Folly and got on our way.
  • The trip through Liberty was as calm as before. At the Magellan gate in California we met another Junker Pilgrim. We were both heading for the Leeds system, so we chatted a little bit. In Leeds we split up; the other flew on to the planet while we set course for the Cambridge jumhole.
  • In Cambridge our long-range scanners picked up a Corsair transponder. Not wanting to risk getting caught on the long run to the Omega-3 gate, I decided to use the near-by jumphole. A good decision - the 'sair showed up on our scanners just as we reached the hole and jumped.
  • The rest of the trip was nothing special. A calm flight past Freeport One. Aland wasn't too happy to see us delivering the cargo, but they payed us nonetheless. Seven million. A decent price.

Sub-Entry #1

Toxic Waste; Aland Shipyard --> Dortmund Smelter
  • After a somewhat relaxing "night" on Aland, we picked up a load of toxic waste that the IMG needed to be shipped out.
  • The flight to New Berlin was as calm as ever. We dropped the waste off at Dortmund for a nice fee of about a million credits.

Sub-Entry #2

MOX - Embargo Run; Dortmund Smelter --> Rochester
  • On Dortmund we loaded up on MOX, saying that we'd be taking it to the Rheinland forces in Hamburg. They always need more fuel for their big ships.
  • Well, instead of delivering it there, we ran right on to the Bering gate, passed that system without an incident, and continued on through Texas.
  • In New York, we jumped right into a group of Navy fighters and a BDM gunboat. That was kinda awkward, but they seemed to be too busy bravado-ing around at each other to even take notice of the Folly. Fine with me.
  • Our fellow Junkers on Rochester were more than happy to see us drop the MOX off there. A nice profit too - seven million.

Mutiny
  • God damn it. Those bloody bastards. Those god damn sons of bitches. Those worthless deck rats stole my ship. They stole the Folly. I can't believe it. Mister Kinley, Angelica, and I were in the bar for maybe ten minutes, and suddenly we see the thing cruising by the window towards Manhattan. I guess I won't see that one again. But god be damned, I'll find who ever is responsible for this and skin him. But for now, I need a new ship. Damn, maybe I'll need to buy one of those pathetic CSFs...
