thats where the 'wait 2 days' part comes from.

Just read a review on it by Custom PC, looks promising. I've never been a great fan of betas though, so I'll wait until the final comes out and probably scorn at it when I see it's a subscription MMO.

Tis indeed fun. If you're looking for a 'realistic armor simulation' look elsewhere though. It's more along the lines of BF2 tank fighting, with a bit more realism and grinding for new tanks, upgrades thrown in. Look up 'Toothpick' if you get on. ;-)

Apparently there will be a soft-wipe in early 2011 when the game goes live.

I've heard that beta-testers will keep character and accumulated exp, but lose all tanks.

Edit: Defintely needs some kind of squad function... Comms are implemented terribly within the game.
