Colonel Ricardo Alvarez was drunk, it was to be expected, it was Christmas.

He was sitting with his feet up on a table, an array of tequila bottles around him in various states of being drunk, his feet were tapping along to the song on the juke box, a tradition of Kalashnikovs. Everyone that entered had to play a song... and well... considering it was Christmas, and considering that they were about to have guests from all over Sirius descending on the bar, he had chosen something Very appropriate.

Juke Box

The Order warships filled the view out of the window, mixed with Zoner juggernaughts, whales and just about anything else that could stuff into Omega-52 for the PARTY OF THE YEAR.

Alvarez smiled, strange as it was to see so much firepower in the Coalition... it was a sign of how things had changed under Premier Katz... The Coalition was moving towards a more open society, it was prospering... its people were benefitting from the prosperity... 818AS had been a great year for the Coalition... and Alvarez wondered if 819AS would be just as good?

The Barmaids were wearing elf costumes... flitting amongst the tables in the bar, serving drinks, as people steadilly arrived for the celibration.

Soon the Premier would be there, and then there would be speeches, drinks to friendship and the obligatory game of strip poker... Which would probably wind up with members of the fighter corps dancing in their underwear on the tables.

He grinned as he stood up.

The wall was a new addition to Kalashnikov's, and a welcome one for all of the Fighter corps. The wall was like taking a walk down memory lane for any member of the SCRA; a bittersweet journey of his career, and that of so many, in the Coalition. The Wall of Heroes had pictures of those pilots and leaders who have been an integral part of the Coalition. Some had given their very lives in service; others had served with distinction and given leave to retire.

Alvarez smiled as he contemplated the Wall of Heroes. Flanking the dominating picture of Premier Katz were the portraits of Grand Admiral MacIntosh, of Jan Richtofen and Ty Kirk, of Miroslav Baranov and Nikolai Varnava, of Dieter Zehn and Sitting Bear. These were all great men of the Coalition, and the Wall of Heroes was created to honor their acheivements and memories. And I miss you all. Too many good men have died at the hands of our enemies. Too many friends.

As the song ended, Alexi turned back to the main area. The Wall of Heroes was positioned so that no matter where you were in Kalashnikov's, the grand view of the Premier and his cadre would be there. Staring in to his glass in contemplation, Alvarez took his ring and started slightly tapping the glass with it, making a small yet noticable clinking sound. Gradually, the din of conversation died as all eyes turned to Alvarez, under the visage of the Premier and the other Heroes. As the last of the conversation quieted, the short hispanic spoke in a soft, yet forceful baritone.

"Merry Christmas!" he grinned as he slugged another shot... "Let's get this party... started Eses!"

The Botev returned from its Three week mission in the Omicrons. The Botev Enterd Omega-52 and Once in range of Zukovski he saw Tons of ships near Zukovski. He wondered what is going on but he remembered its the Coalition Christmas party. Dimitrov sayd.

" Well thats interesting look how many ships are here. Put your Formal uniforms."

The Botev moored and the Crew Enterd the Bar they saw the Party has started. He saw a lot of Order personal and Coalition dancing and drinking together. Petko sees and he is happy with the party. But Petko figured he can find a new girl to try find cause Winters broke his heart. He lookd around and finally managed to get to the Bar He ordered 1 Bottle of Rakia. He saw alverez he wanted to get close but he saw how much empty bottles were around him. He saw some Order agents Arm Wrestling.

The order marine sit down and Petko and Him started Arm Wrestling both opponents Wrestle for 5 minutes before attracting a crowd. Both Petko and His Opponent faces gone red. The Fight Ended when the Tabble that they were fighting broke and they both fell from their chairs. They lookd Each other and laughs. Then the Cj lets this Song sound the Bar. petko Got his Opponent and started dancing and drinking. But with an Open eye for a female somewhere in the room.

It had been a trying year, and Alvin was looking forward to a chance to forget about galactic politics, houses and wars. He wanted a chance to just be himself for a little while, and celebrate Christmas with him lads, and his friends.

The Coalition had come through a hard year, JiangXi... the Bounty Hunter wars. And they had survived.

He wore his favourite sweater, moving through the doors to the Klash (as it was nicknamed) taking a glass of red wine that was offered to him, one of the Zoner shipments brought out for the occasion. Smiling politely to members of the Politburo, ambassadors and officers, he lifted a glass and took a drink, sighing as he enjoyed the rich flavour of the Gallic speciality.

He saw several members of the Order engaged in a furious poker game with members of the Red Hessian Army, a Molly who was down to his skivvies, and two members of the fighter corps who had a big pile of clothing behind them... It was good to see some Christmas traditions were still alive.

Taking a place at the bar, he leaned back fumbling out a cigarette and lighting it, smiling at Leon Mendel who was never more than a step or two away from the Premier.

"You should get a drink Leon," Katz offered.

Mendel snorted, "With the reputation of this lot of mongerals? Someone around here needs to be sober incase they begin some kind of diplomatic incident."

"Relax," Katz said with a warm smile. "Have a drink with me, by god you have earned it after this year."

Mendel glanced at the drink, and sighed. "All right Alvin, but so help us if things go to hell in a hand basket because people don't know when to... OI!" he yelled pointing to the table. "For the love of god, don't take the mans underwear... there are women present!"

Katz chuckled as he shook his head... typical Klash.

Lieutentant Colonel Vicenta Gonzalez was irritated when this song came on right as she entered the bar. She suspected someone was probably taking the mickey, and she didn't especially like it. Regardless, she neatly sidestepped the mistletoe and sought out Katz. She had a giftwrapped box under her arm.

"Oi, Katz... sorry. Comrade Premier." She tapped him on the shoulder, dodging a panicking elf bar maid carrying a large tray of vodka glasses to a large table of large drunken Commissars. "Seeing as it's apparently Christmas, I went and got you this."

[Inquisitor Gaunt]

Simon wandered stupidly into the bar, a pint in one hand, and a neural net calling frequency in the other. He grinned rediculously large, tossing a glance over the bar, before holding up the glass, sloshing beer all over his mufti. He cursed loudly, accent too thick and slurred to make any sense of the statement.

He looked over at the Commissars, slouching his head to the left, before shaking it suddenly, deciding not to mess with those mad bastards. Sure it was Christmas, but that was a...religious...opiate of the masses-

His mind went blank for a moment, too addled with booze to form a cognitive thought. It rebooted at the last one that made sense: Commissars are bad. Even on Christmas.

With his new found wisdom, he planted himself on a bar stool and ordered another pint to the replace the one now splayed out along his arm.

" 'Iveusa pint, mate!" he said, words caught so close together they were nigh on indistinguishable.

While the bartender slipped over, rolling his eyes before drawing a glassfull from the tap, Simon looked up, groggily blinking at the relatively low slung celing before recognizing the song playing in the background. He jumped to his feet, hands thrown in the air before beginning to sing drunkedly along. Another patron shot him an annoyed glance, telling him to sit down and shut up. He was lucky the Newcastler was pissed, no-one really wanted a lumbering pile of Molly muscle slapping them down on Christmas, and Simon was happy to oblige that, for now.

He swivled on the chair, drumming the table with a finger to signal for another drink, before taking it and swaggering over to nearby the Commissars, tugging a pack of cards from his pocket. He wasn't going to interupt the BLAM kings, but by god if they wanted a game of strip poker, too, they'd have it!

[color=#00CCCC][font=Book Antiqua]Having a christmas "elf" guarding each of his arms and one sitting on his back, Peter Hansen stumbled into the well and lovely decorated festival hall.

There were quite a few familiar faces around. Order Pilots who helped him making his way out of the nomad infested Omicron Delta, several weeks ago. Crewmen of Freital and Casablanca base were there aswell.
Ignoring most of the people around him, still having the giggling girl on his back, he made his way straight to the Premier.


"Mr. Premier. What a nice and warm welcome you arranged!" He glanced at the girl on his back
"And what your men and women did to the hall.. man i like it. Brings back good childhood memories."


Hansen, who normally seemed to be wearing a tough pokerface, smiled like a child sitting under a christmas tree, unwrapping it's presents.

"I heard the best Eggnogg in whole Sirius was made here, tonight. I guess you got too many things to pay attention to, to just follow me, have a drink and a chat don't you?"

Hansen still smiled

Colonel Xiao signalled for a strong drink, anything to numb the cold that he felt this time of year. Taking a swig, he chose a new song on the Jukebox, raising his glass to an invisible drinking partner.

His glance passed the Wall of Heroes briefly, a voice in the back of his mind pointing out, that the wall was short on a number of names.

"To good men and women lost" he sipped his drink, "And happy holidays..."

A rather drunk Junior Lieutenant across the room clambered up onto a table, kicking over empty glasses and vodka bottles, raising her glass and gathering the attention of most of the bar.

"TO PREMIER KATZ, TO CH-CHRISTMAS, TO VODKA!" she cheered, collapsing into a crowd of Hessian fighter jocks,

"Well, nobody's perfect..." Xiao smiled, finishing his first drink off.

[Doc Holliday]

The Hollidays entered Kalashnikov's, their holiday spirit seeming to be quite good. Doc himself had just finished a pile of work over the last couple of weeks at Shasta and used the chance to unwind a bit. He dressed himself in a fine suit as he decided to leave his TAZ robes at home. But, no matter how he dressed, he always paled in comparison to his wife.
Midori was dressed in a specially made Christmas kimono gown. Poinsettas were about her and the traditional fan she carried had the same markings. Rather than her usual chrysanthemum in her hair, a poinsetta was placed. Combine all that with her smile, Doc didn't mind feeling underdressed.

They both found Alvin. Doc shook his hand, "Merry Christmas, old friend." He scanned the whole establishment, "You did a fine job of getting this place ready. Nice work."

Midori herself bowed to Alvin with a smile as he took her hand and kissed it, "Radiant as always."
"Arigato, Alvin," she smiled her return, "do be sure I get a dance with the premier later." She turned and winked at Doc who made no argument but did insist, "Me first, Dahlin'"
"Of course, John Henry," she replied, winking again.

Before he ordered a drink, a request of him was made for a blessing. He felt honored and agreed but stopped to think a moment. He wasn't a Christian but his family lineage was. Midori was herself a Buddhist and several TAZ were about as well but as most were people of faith, he pondered a non-denominational way to make it work. Mutual respect of faiths was abundant and after all, a good time was to be had by all. For few minutes, John Holliday now had the floor as he looked skyward,

"To those whom we worship, you know who you are, we gather before you all today not as Christians or Discordians or Buddhists or whatever we may believe, but as friends and to a degree, family. We look not on our faith but on the respect and honor we carry for each other to make this a time for us all to enjoy. May all who we praise bring their blessings upon us all and help us to share in this time of celebration."

He paused momentarily. Looking amongst those gathered around him, he continued, "Of you all, I ask this for the upcoming year, may our prosperity continue. May our friendships and mutual respect grow and may we all be safe."

He then turned to Midori, "May I have this dance, Mrs. Holliday?"
She just smiled, "Hai," as she placed at his lower back and one on his shoulder.
Doc just nodded to the band and their song began: Eagles
On cue, they took to the floor.

As they danced, someone said quietly to Alvin, "you need to get Doc on the piano. It's a talent that he seldom shares."

[Jeremy Hunter]

Jeremy Hunter walked into the christmas party with his twin sister Ellie. Behind them, Marines lugged boxes of cake.

"Yo! I got the cake!"

jeremy and Ellie moved quickly to avoid the lower ranking officers who fell onto the cake. Jeremy sighed.

"Good thing I had alot of cake made!" But Jeremy was sad for some reason sad. He turned to Ellie.
"May I have this dance?"

Ellie smiled and nodded. Taking to the floor, the song I'm dreaming of a whit christmas plays. As the two dance, another song is heard. Jeremy pulls out a comm and spoke for a few seconds. He looked at Ellie.

"We got news. Ive got to go."
"I'll take your stead." And with a hug, the white attire of Jeremy disappeared from the bar. Ellie sighed and got some of the chocolate cake before it was gone. The cake made for the coalition was long gone. Would be needing more, Ellie thought.
She looked out the window to see Jeremy's Resheph disappear.

In his private quarters, Commissar-Lieutenant Robert Miller stared out his window in awe and fascination. Ships, so many ships, were arriving and docking with Zvezdny. Order, Zoner, Hessian, anybody invited was arriving. And who could possibly refuse an invitation to a Christmas party in Omega-52? It had never happened before, so the people were lining up in their masses to attend.

Robert watched a Geb approach, and listened to the comm traffic with his own radio. The meticulous task of guiding the Geb safely into the mooring sites was a challenge. One that was normally controlled by humans was now controlled by robots, as the technicians of Zvezdny and the crew of the Geb were most likely partying.

'There you are!' A voice behind him exclaimed. 'Don't you remember what you had promised?'

'And what was that?' Robert asked the woman who was leaning in the door frame. She was in her mid-twenties, with long brown hair draping her shoulders, and soft green eyes. Her face was petite, her features perfectly spaced on her small head.

'You said, and I quote "If I live through all of this to a Christmas party, I will drink enough liquor to knock an entire battalion of troops from service for a week". So come on, we have a party to get to!'

She grinned, Robert grinned back, and then she rushed away in the direction of the party. Robert rose from sitting on his bed, and reached down to grab his cane. Then he departed swiftly, shouting after the woman to wait up.

They arrived together, arms linked together. Robert and his woman friend had dressed informally, as everybody else. Robert wore jeans and a jacket, his woman friend in a skirt and blouse. Clothes hardly worth becoming excited about.

Suddenly, as they walked through the entrance, she turned sharply and pressed her lips against Robert's. A second later she pulled away, then pointed up. Mistletoe hung precariously over their heads.

'Ooo, mistletoe. Gets me every year. Most years into deep trouble when my father saw who I was kissing.' He chuckled lightly, and proceeded with her in-arm deeper into the throng of party-goers. He saw the bar, and glanced at his friend. She grinned wildly, and held up a beer funnel.

Oh, what have I gotten myself into. That was what Robert would have thought on any other night. But not tonight. No, tonight he was feeling the festive spirit.

In good humour, a radio play began to sound through the bar. Some listened, and when the comedy began laughter occasionally filled the room. A tap on Robert's shoulder drew his attention away. His woman friend was there, holding a beer funnel. She grinned, and he grinned back.
