The smile from her face suddenly dissapeared. [color=#FF99FF]"I told you everything you wanted to know, now please remove those things from my arms. If you doubt the things I tell you here, then why did you even put that much work into catching me?"
She took a deep breath.[color=#FF99FF] "And how should I tell you about a memory that is blurry for myself? I dont know what happened and I dont even want to know about it." She tried to lift her arms a bit. "Now... could you please remove those things?" She emphasized the 'please' in a way that didnt let the word sound friendly in any way.
Walking toward the girl, Dresner reaches for a small pack attached to his belt and takes out a small syringe. Putting his other hand on the girl's shoulder to stop her from struggling, he injects the syringe to her arm.
- "Vell, mein fraulein... Seems you need a little rest before ve go on."
Then holding the syringe in front of the girl's face, he continues,
- "Zis vill help you sleep fur a few hours, und you vill be moved back to your cell meanvhile. Ve vill talk again in a day or tvo."
After a few seconds staring in the girl's sleepy eyes that she was clearly fighting to keep open, he puts the empty syringe back in the pack and walks to the panel on the wall, tapping the button he says in the microphone,
- "Ve are done fur today, move fraulein Schwab back to her cell und keep her secured. Ich vill have to speak vith Herr Hoerst before moving zis any furzer."
Throwing another glance at the half-conscious girl, Dresner moves back to the table to gather the files and then moves out of the door. Outside, he stops as the guards salute him and after saluting back, he turns to the Gefreiter and says "Make sure she haz had enough rest und food before ze next interrogation, und make sure to keep her secure und let no one get close to ze cell vithout direct orders from Major Hoerst." and as the Gefreiter nods and salutes again, Dresner turns and walks away from the interrogation chamber.
As the mechanic locks on the interrogation chamber door released, Dresner walked into the empty room and a moment later lights turned on. He walked to the table, putting the files down, and then briefly looked around the cameras around the room which were already on record. He walked to the chair which the girl was strapped to more than a week ago and took out his digital notepad as he sat down. Spending a couple of days reviewing all the videos and datas gathered from the earlier interrogation and the girl's past-life over and over during the past few days, he had managed to pin down every single piece of information he believed to be valuable. After going through his notes once again, he stood up again and walked to the panel on the wall.
- "Move fraulein Schwab to ze interrogation room."
And then walked to a chair on the corner of the room and pulled it in front of the one which the girl was going to be strapped to, and as he sat down, he started reviewing his notes again, with his back to the door.
Sophie sat at the bed in her cell as the guards entered. They stepped in without a word and pointed a gun at her head.[color=#FF0000] "Dresner wants to see you. Guess he still got more questions." One of them took a blindfold out of his pocket and placed it over her eyes.[color=#FF99FF] "Hey... what... what are you doing?" The guard ignored her and checked if the blindfold was placed correctly, once he was sure that she didnt see a thing they brought her out of the cell into the interrogation chamber, where Dresner already waited. She was placed on the chair and they strapped her arms and legs on it to make sure that she had no chance to escape. "Is this really necessary? I... cant see anything."
Dresner looked up over his shoulder as he heard the locks on the door releasing again, and watched as the guards dragged the girl into the room, forcing her to sit down, and then strapping her to the chair. He watched the two guards hesitatingly, as they were strapping the girl's wrists to the chair, thinking if he should tell them to let her arms remain free, but deciding not to take unnecessary chances, he remained silent. "Is this really necessary? I... cant see anything." hearing the girl's stressed voice, he walked up to her and pulled the blindfold off her face.
- "Ja, not necessary at all."
Walking back to his chair, he took another brief look through his notepad before turning back to the girl.
- "So, fraulein Schwab. How are you feeling today?"
Staring into the girl's eyes for a few silent moments, he pointed his finger at her.
- "Ve have lost a little bit ov practice, haven't ve? Vhen ve are here, ich ask questions und you -Should- ansver zem."
He cleared his throat and stared at the girl again.
- "Und needless to say, ich hate repeating meinself."
She still stared at him for a few seconds, thinking about what he just said. After a few more seconds she sighed.[color=#FF99FF] "I dont feel that well, I have problems to sleep here and the people just seem to treat me either like air, or as if I would be a dangerous criminal." She sighed once more. [color=#FF99FF] "How long will you keep me here? Can I... go soon?" She looked at him once more, trying to look straight into his eyes.
- "Dangerous criminals you say, fraulein? Aren't all Hessens, akording to ze almighty Gott-Kanzler?"
Then holding the notepad up, he continues;
- "If you are az uncooperative az ze last time, ich bin afraid things might remain zis vay fur a vhile... But back to ze main subjekt..."
He stands up, walking to the wall on the girl's right and crossing his arms as he leans on the wall, then points at the girl's strapped wrists with his head.
- "However... If you are cooperativ enough - unlike ze last time - ich can put a gut vord in fur you und next time ve vill be talking vith your arms unstrapped. No more questioning about vhen or unzer vhich circumstances vill you be freed - or nagging about unstrapping your hands like vhat happened during our last meeting. Zis time ve vill only have simple questions und straight ansvers. Are ve clear on zat?"
She nodded.[color=#FF99FF] "Yes... completely clear." His words about leaving the straps away were some of the best news she heard in the last month. Leaving them away would make the whole interrogation less painful. [color=#FF99FF] "Now what do you want to know?"
Taking another brief look through his notes, he scrolls to the last page and puts a check-mark in front of the first line.
- "So tell me, fraulein Schwab... You left mein last question unansvered from ze last time. You mentioned 'blurry memories' from your interaktions vith zese... 'Gods', but didn't deskribe any ov zose."
Throwing a quick look at the camera on the other end of the room to make sure it's recording, he continues.
- "You see, ve need to know vhat you know, und feel how you feel. So ich believe zis tells you clear enough vhy ve don't vant to leave out any details."
