Yes, you should be able to play.
I have to fix Garena first, its giving me some weird error like "visual c++ runtime...."
Instaled the newest runtime and still nothing, downloaded garena again..nothing.
Hate will eat you up from the inside, so hurry up and give your heart to a girl before you get eaten up.

I've pretty much learned the terminology of DoTA, but I'm finding it hard to practice them. Two of them being deny and last hit, they're so hard.
Might as well tell you my heroes at the moment, I go between Razor, Lina and Tinker. My builds favour ranged nukers and I never solo because my heroes would get pwnt so hard.
Crusader, I own a legitimate copy. I should be able to play with you and your client right?
well for lina i can tell you to go aghan and dagon in the long run, and then just do a stun, dragon, ulti and dagon ... that ought to kill most non-tank stuff
preferably doing it with shift-clicking, which cues up the stuff you want to cast.
Yeah I know about Scepter and have an idea about late game items like Skadi and Linken. I can also cast all my nukes in a fairly rapid succession.
What really lets me down though are my early games, where the other team always deny me and level quicker than me. I also fail hard at last hits so I don't get much gold to configure my clueless early game items. I generally start off with Null/WBand, Bottle, PTreads then Perserverance.
being a ranged hero you need to deny/last hit stuff as most as possible. when there are no creeps to last hit, you should attack any heroes messing around close enough to you, trying to deny. concerning denying, its all about timing and practice.
about items, eeeh.
well you buy a circlet of nobility, boots of speed and a tango of essifation, or whatever is that thing called. to heal yourself if injured. you dont make power threads, but a null talisman (or two) instead and make a scepter and dont upgrade the boots of speed until you can make boots of travel.
you max the stun spell and the phoenix model one (but theres no harm in adding one skill point to the fire rate increase) , and keep out of the line of fire.
alternatively, you have decent mana regen so you build a mekansm and a ring of basilisk first to keep your health up. starting with the headdress of regeneration first.
oh and if you build a basilisk, you turn it to heroes only mode, since in the beginning, its better to be fighting near your own towers for safety. enemy heroes are less daring if you have a defense tower behind you. if one gets close enough, you stun him and let the tower do additional damage.
well that's lina for a decent start. you adjust item to what players are you with, of course.
of course they are. most of the starting stuff is later on, but they can save your guts multiple times in the beginning.
besides, the basilisk increases armor and mana regen and mekansm armor for everything around. no need get rid of them unless you need space for something else.
Okay I'm not afraid of admitting how much I suck in the games Crusader and I played (we used GameRanger since we couldn't get fiddly Garena to work).
In our very first game I went with Razor, which was a mistake, as it was 1v1 and I chose a farmer. I lost horribly, no surprise here.
Second was slightly better with Lina, I did little denying and harrassing throughout early game. I could also double/triple nuke Crusader's Anti-mage for some decent damage but he was too fast and dodged almost half of them. Then he blinked with mana burn and ulti'd me.
My build for the two games was basically the same, since we started with 4K gold, I went for PTreads straightaway, then a Bottle/Courier combo to regen for harrassments. From there I went onto Maelstrom and was in the process of getting my Perserverance when I had to go in the second match.
I'd like to organise a bigger game. To all Disco DoTA players - get GameRanger!
