[color=#FFFFFF]More days passed since she missed her chance to escape, the only persons that entered her cell where the guards that brought her something to eat. They didnt talk in her presence, they just walked in, placed the food on the table and walked out again. She had counted the days since they asked the last questions.
Dresner was standing with his back to the door, having a look through the files as he heard 3 footsteps entering the room. He simply waited and listened while reading the files as he heard two sets of straps, then said without turning.
- "Leave her hands free."
Then after the guards left and the doors closed, he turned around and walked toward the chair in front of the girl, and said as he sat down.
- "So, fraulein. How did you enjoy ze ride out to Gamma und back?"
[color=#FF99FF] "It was good to be away from this place for some time." She paused[color=#FF99FF] "And attacking those Corsairs is a good thing... They deserve it for attacking us and killing innocents." She looked at Dresner "And thank you for leaving those things away..."
Throwing a quick glance at the girl then looking back at the files, Dresner chuckled slightly and shook his head.
- "So you see, zis is not only your 'Gotts' vho can protekt you. Imagine all ze korzairs ve took kare ov zat day have been broke loose around ze vaterland."
He then closed the files and looked back at the girl.
- "So, right to ze point - Let's say ve let you go free, vhat vould you be villing to do to help ze volksrevolution?"
She sighed[color=#FF99FF] "What I did before, protecting Cassablanca from their attacks and killing every Corsair I encounter..." She smiled slightly[color=#FF99FF] "And I would make sure to keep those Kruger and Daumann thiefs away from our Omegas." She looked down once more "But I wouldnt want to attack people in Rheinland. I dont have a reason to do this. They are innocent mostly."
- "Die volksrevolution don't attack ze civilian, nor ze innocent. Zis seems to be a small detail you've been missing fraulein."
Then crossing his legs, he continues.
- "Only zose vho knovingly und villingly help ze corrupt regime ov ze kanzler - vhich tecknically don't make zem az gut az zose barbarian korzairs - are ze one's vho get attacked by members ov ze Armee, zis is one point you should unzerstand."
After a few silent moments as Dresner studied the expression on the girl's face, he added.
- "Now mein fraulein, vhat vould be your reaktion if ich told you zat zese 'beings' you vere interakting vith vere not sent by your 'Gotts'?"
She seemed to be stunned for a moment.[color=#FF99FF] "I dont know..." She looked at him in a questioning way.[color=#FF99FF] "You would have to... tell me what they are... if they arent sent by the gods." She thought about this, it seemed to be absurd, why should they be something else?
Remaining silent for a few minutes, Dresner got back on his feet and started slowly walking around the room as he tried to explain things to the girl as simple as possible.
- "Vell, mein fraulein... Ze reazon you vere brought here in ze first place und kept isolated ever since vas not bekauze ve konsidered You to be someone dangerous, unlike vhat you thought, it vas zose vho managed to 'influence' you. Ze same 'Beings' vho you say have been sent to you by your gotts. Let me put it simple fraulein, Das Wilde..."
Then pausing for a moment to check the expression on girl's face, he continued.
- "...have zis type of 'Weapon', vhich is much like our own unmanned kombat drones. Zey are really rare, vhich is vhy you didn't know about zem before... But ich have to say, sadly, zose 'Beings' you talked about are not sent by your 'gotts', but rather made by Das Wilde."
And walking back to the chair, he said without sitting down.
- "How zey kommunicated vith you, vas a lower degree ov nomad mind-kontrol methods - Und zat vas ze main reazon ve had to isolate you until ve make sure ze process have not damaged your brain."
Then sitting down, he pointed at the girl.
- "Vhat zey showed you vas enjoyable und fascinating fur you bekauze zey vanted it to be. Zat's how zey try to gain one's trust, to abuse it fur zeir own goals, fur Our destruktion later."
Then as the girl seemed like she has something to say, Dresner crossed his arms and waited for the girl to start.
Dresner words were like sharp daggers cutting everything she thought to understand into small pieces. She wasnt sure if he would be telling the truth, or if this would just be a way to lure her closer to his 'Volksrevolution'. To lure her closer by destroying what she believed in. She closed her eyes for a few moments and then took a deep breath[color=#FF99FF] "So you did all of this just to save me? To... make sure that they cant hurt me?" Sophie tried to look into his eyes to find out if his words were the truth, but she wasnt able to determine it.[color=#FF99FF] "I have heard of these 'Wild' they are dangerous, so I think... I should thank you for saving me." She tried to smile, but her expression didnt show much of a feeling such as happiness.
- "Die Volksrevolution is not az 'Monstrous' az you may think fraulein Schwab. Trying to protekt und sekure ze vaterland und our volks ov any possible threats from Nomads und Das Wilde is vhat ve ov ze Spezialoperationsabteilung vithin ze Armee are focusing on. So zis is more ov a 'Duty' fur us zan a 'favor' zat needs to be thanked fur."
Then standing up, he said as he walked to the panel on the wall.
- "You vill be unzergoing one final test in tvo days from now, und later ve vill have anozer talk. If results are satisfying enough, you vill be allowed to leave. But until zen - und now zat you know vhat you've been really dealing vith - ich vant you to review your interaktions vith zese 'Scorpion' drones, und give me ze most detailed deskription about it vhen ve talk next. Fur now, get some rest."
And then turned back to the panel and moved his mouth close to the microphone.
