If you ask me the easiest type of gun to learn to aim with would be 4.00 700 m/s of some kind, that's how I learned. Not that you can't learn to use flashies instead, they're great guns too. Sincerely, a good shot.

Haven't found anyone around for practicing with
First of all, you should have more confident to your aiming. Afraid is not a way to solve the problem. If you always evade, your opponent can shoot freely, its only matter of time to kill you in such fight. Don't expect can get upper hand in the PvP as a beginner, improve yourself step by step.
Trust yourself. If you can shoot NPCs with good accuracy, aiming is not your biggest problem for now.

Tried shooting instead of evading and all I got was losing shield to 1/10 and then hull to half with 1 or to shots hitting him:laugh:

Unless you're fighting mamoru in a templar, I consider myself at least above average PvPer (considering disco realities), mama was still too agile to out-turn it:P

This is why I fly a Paladin. Which is awesome until I try to actually stop a transport and realize how fearsome it sounds when I RP a bit and finally get to say:
"Drop the cargo! Or be subjected to getting to your destination on thrusters alone while I slowly annoy your mechanics."
Main point anyway: agility is very highly ship-dependent (not necessarily class), and so is landing certain munitions against your opponent.

Unioner Arbeiter with Protectors. Still one of best VHFs I ever had the chance to use/
I doubt it would be any usefull for me to practice with 4.00s, I don't have faction characters and my main's a Freelancer, would use mostly flashes and debs.
