The Kusari Naval Forces was created to serve and protect the Emperor's interests, patrol Kusari space, enforce law and order and uphold the honour of the Kusari name.

• "The Laws of Sirius". Mandatory read.
  
• Full details about ships, weapons, equipment and ranks are available here.
  
• Routine patrols must be carried out in fighter or bomber class ships.
  
• Capital ships and bombers are awarded to individuals at the discreption of High Command and may not be purchased without permission.
  
• KNF pilots are entitled to scan traders for contraband and demand illegal cargo in Kusari controlled systems.
  
• Hostile vessels should be given the opportunity to leave Kusari Space and avoid combat if they have not already attacked friendly units.
  They should be escorted as necessary.
  
• KNF pilots may engage vessels belonging to factions listed as hostile if they refuse to leave Kusari space or they attack friendly units.
  
• KNF pilots may engage freelancers listed as hostile (the criminals list) if they refuse to leave Kusari space or they attack friendly units.
  
• KNF pilots should render assistance to allies or friendly units under attack within Kusari space.
  
• KNF pilots are required to act with forethought, dignity and honour at all times.

My name is Kenji Ming I am from planet Honshu wishing to join the Kusari Naval forces. As we fight a war with Bretonia the blood dragons are destroying our home. The KNF is fighting on two fronts plus the threat from Gallia, the KNF won'€™t have enough people to fight a three sided war. My family has never been the warring type they are mostly merchants but Kusari needs soldiers more than ever. I wish only to serve in the navy to help return Kusari to its former glory. This is the peoples war as much as the empires and the people are ready and willing to fight. If you grant me this one wish I will serve until death take me or the emperor releases me. This is my chance to give back to the empire that have provided for me since birth. It would be an honor to fly against the enemies of Kusari just tell me where and I shall go.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ryuu Tanaka. I was born on planet New Tokyo in a loving family. My mother worked as a teacher at the University of Philosophy, and my father was a member of the honorable Naval forces. Since I was young, or should I say, old enough to understand, my father taught me the meaning of honor. To respect your friend and foe, but to be ready to slice off the head of that same foe to protect the Emperor.

My father has taught me everything I know about ships, guns, swords, flying techniques and so on. My father is now retired, and he is living happily with my mother. But, now at the age of twenty, after finishing school, it is my turn. My turn to use all the knowledge my father passed on to me, and to serve Kusari with it.
