[color=#FFFFFF]Indeed the desperation and the exodus to the citadel was perfect, however I cannot get over the things I stated so far. Also I agree about the music, ME 1 was the absolute top
As I said in a chat, actually I'll copy paste it can't be arsed posting

[12.3.2012 г. 23:24:17] Andrew "Switchback" W.: ME3 was one.
[12.3.2012 г. 23:24:35] Re\/ang3: it had an atmosphere but it wasn't Mass Effect atmosphere
[12.3.2012 г. 23:24:57] Re\/ang3: it was sort of Jericho meets Battlestar Galactica- ish feeling of doom
One more bad point -> the necessity of multiplayer plays that adds to your SP war points which affects the ending.
EDIT: I actually liked the atmosphere in ME 3. It was meant to be like this from ME 1 anyway. ME 1 -> mostly exploration and battling against one dude. ME 2 -> kinda going into bigger skirmishes and battles, still enough exploration but more important matters to focus. ME 3 -> war. all else is unimportant.
[color=#FFFFFF]Not what I meant, you speak more of the focus of the game, I am perfectly fine with that, they nailed it.
I mean those little magical moments, walking down the SR-1's cockpit corridor and listening to this. The lighting on the Citadel, the introduction a vast and mysterious and just as dangerous space. The Solaris vibes some space scenes had, it was just magic. it still is magic. Despite the two other releases that feeling as if someone is crushing my lungs is still there every time I boot up the game
Or from the second one, seeing that car ride on Illium, the Omega apartments and lowlifes, the contrast between the classy clubs on the Citadel and Afterlife
For me it goes like this
Mass Effect - we introduce you to this magical world of danger and opportunity, your have the best ship there but it's still a bug compared to what's out there, go figure it out
Mass Effect 2 - You already saw the wild west of space, now see how people live, where they party, their apartments, their pastimes.
Mass Effect 3 - Ok, you've seen it all now let's see how it all falls apart in a post-apocalyptic environment
You should see the user reviews forum of official mass effect community. 40 pages of ranting about the ending:DThere is a facebook page and a petition about changing the end with a free DLC, last night, it had 12500 or so likes with 70000 or so views
