So, the Cambridge Corfu run is gone? Ugh, I'm sorry but that was one of the best RP and money routes you could have really... Lots of good stuff there. But then again, Igiss always changes things up a bit to make the mod fun with new things to discover. I guess this is just one of those times.
If the borderworld/edge world trade routes were replaced with inter-house ones (where the house clans can actually defend traders), that will increase the RP. And it will make the job harder for pirates. I'd like to do a long trade route, like Texas-Shikoku, and with a substantial profit. I mean, the big bucks from trade should come from the Houses, not from isolated groups. The Corsairs will never have more cash than Liberty, for example. That's why, it's logical to have good routes between the houses, and big bucks for killing NPCs in the tougher areas of Sirius. Like in the unmodded freelancer:D
if the outside routes got nerfed....that hurts juno.
she cant go into liberty or kusari or rhienland...
and if all she can do is smuggle...well, she wont be selling cardi, and artifacts are iffy....she will not trade slaves, wow...the borderworlds and bretonia are the only place where juno can trade without breaking rp...
guess ill go back to trading engines....cool...better rp....much lower prices though...
lesse....1050 a unit....4 jumps,
wow....
the borderworlds should need items more than the house systems...they are more isolated, ergo, more scarcity, ergo higher prices....does make sense that the passengers dont want to go to corfu though....

whats at corfu?
I believe that because in real-life Corfu is a hotspot for tourism, they thought they'd make a little joke here, perhaps? Same goes for Crete.
The passengers were being fooled and sold into slavery was the actual jest i believe. So traders that were dropping people off at crete, were actually smuggling. You evil, evil sons of...
