Guess that settles the question. Thank you Shryke. I've had people complain that because I'm seen as neutral to them, they think I'm being sneaky as they believe I'm neutral to lawfuls for some strange reason. I wish there was a Pirate IFF, but this is the best that we can do.

Nothing wrong with using the Freelancer IFF. It simply states you have no affiliation with any already established faction. The Pirate ID rephacks you hostile to everything lawful under the sun, so do what I do and ignore the Q_Q.
My LRF has strong ties with the Unioners, hence we use the Unioner IFF. And I'm sure you'd get even more complaints if you adopted the Rogues IFF and started mucking about in the Omegas.

Oh yes, people would not be pleased. We don't exactly have any ties with the Liberty Rogues, at least at the moment, so it would make no sense to use their IFF.

We just had our first encounter in Dublin, where we found two more independent pirates interested in joining this group. Then we had a fight with the BAF, BPA, a Molly and a Bounty Hunter. We destroyed a Dunkirk before fleeing to Chester, thrusting over 30k to get to the jump hole. Three of our bombers survived out of six who took part in the fight, and we had all run out of bots.
It was an enjoyable fight for our side, and I hope it was for everybody on the other side. If anybody from the fight can comment that'd be great.

Aye, I was the Dunkirk, had you 6 rocs going for what I guestimate was around 30 minutes, have to explain to the Fleet Admiral that I ran the Dunkirk aground during peacekeeping operations, take a while to tow the old hulk to port for repairs.
Was fun, eyes hurt a touch, was fully aware that it was probably suicidal vs 6 bombers, but it was an experience and there's no harm in getting blown up once in a while:D

And, without having found this text before, I figured out that you were a gang (today when you killed our IMG Nyx indie) and that Roger was the leader.
So... nicely done if you appear as a group and are recognizeable as a group even without knowledge that it exists. =)
