Forgotton Freelancer (2001)

i belive Many of us watched two different trailers of freelancer with completly different characters and cutscences,one from the freelancer that is expected to release in 2001 but some thing happend so release delayd .
After watching both trailers its quit clear that both have different storylines, characters and some other contents.
I am thinking about what happend to that storyline?
Any one knows about it and also is that story line is avalible to download from somewhere?:rtfm: From Bonus DvD or site for it to download that storyline?:rtfm:or it is just destroyed or trashed?:(

Some stuff is on the bonus DvD for sure.
Also, if you lurk around the forums for a while, you will find remnants of the old stuff ( stories for example ).

But I guess most of it is secret or has been trashed after Microsoft took over the development studio.

Freelancer Alpha was only used for promotional purposes and thus never released. You can find some of its art on the bonus DVD.

I can remember playing the demo for Freelancer, but that's about it really.

Freelancer demo, atleast the one I played. was the main story mission whnere you escorted stuff to Pittsburgh then went and blew up some weapons platforms and a base.
