Are you an adventurer, seeking to search out the unknown? Or are you a stalwart protector of the innocent, a defender of the common man or woman just trying to make ends meet and perhaps support their family?

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, then the Independent Miners Guild needs you.

As a guild, IMG is an association of professionals from various areas of expertise. These individuals have come together in order to build a livlihood for themselves and their families. In the process, Guild has become in many ways Community. We work together and we refine each other's skills. If you are interested in such an organization, then we invite you to apply.

1. Professional background, including what work you have done in the past and why you wish to join the Guild.
2. Briefly describe what you understand the purposes of IMG to be.

Once you post your application in this thread, you will receive a response from the appropriate division director in this thread. If accepted, you will be given access to the IMG Secure GuildComm, and your director will give you instructions for setup.

Me I'm IMG miner since...well except during war, so i'm mining since ever!

I didn't go a lot to school so i'm not quite comfortable with papers ans procedures ya guys like and, by da way i lost my papers.
But This ol' Duncan has been kicked the other day by a kid from Colonials :"Hey you wouldn't die painting IMG letters on your ship would ya" he told me!
Let me tell ya i wasn' happy but, well, he's not wrong, so here i am to apply.

Every miner in Tau23 knows me, and they all know they can always count on DUncan when they need! I have a huge Hauler network i often bring to my buddies up there locked with plenty of Niobium! Yes Mister!

And My hegemon is da most comfortable i tell ya! Yes cause i installed leathers sit with foot heater speci...Hem sorry, you may not care about that.

Me i work with IMG , i know very well Interspace Com traders buddies and Zoner's command they specially call this ol' Duncan directly when they need a miner, yes misters!
Cause i'm not one those selfish guys, my sentence is :"united we're strong" We're IMG miners for that huh ?
I dedicate my incomes to a Freelancer i pay to protect us and to the only familiy left i have, my adopted son since those damn nomads they killed my beloved and daughter long time ago, it's still hurt ya know...Ol' Duncan was a good husband AND a good father, it's told!

Ah! Last thing, i HATE price breakers, w came to the guild to live better, so i warn ya: price killers can hear my insults to Omega 7 ! that's told!

Professional Background :
I work a lot as Independant miner in Dublin, Tau's and Omega 7 sectors. I think being a proficient miner caus' i worked all my damn life. I quit my youth-carreer in BMM caus' those corporates are exploiters, i don't like them so i'll keep reasonable and respectful distance unless some wanna trespass courtesy limits.
I settled aboard Dreadnought Hood Station some years ago....well, i must confess Hood and Arranmore's whiskeys are my favorite ones.

[color=#333333]What i understood of IMG to be :
Independant Miners gathered to protect and assist mutually, to form a consistent force facing both piracy and concurrence. For me IMG is on honest worker's side, also we go were corporate lackey's don't dare to go...that's enough and that fits me.

What can i bring to IMG :
Are you kidding or what ?? I work as miner since i'm 17 ! 34 years of honest labour and almost no complaints unless those from greedy haulers, damn'em ! Mining is in my blood and in my family since generations ! The Jones are a family of honest and devoted craftsmen, ya got my word .... *calms down*

What can i bring else ? Well...some excellent Arranmore whiskey, i always have a crate'o'bottlez in hold...for personal consumption and sharing with good lads.

Ah..i forgot....i can also bring some lovely AntiMatter blast to those bothering me or my business partners...i'm not against givin' a good ol'whackin' to those hispanian outlaws or any mosquito intending to exploit us miner's work. Some partners already appreciated me as avant-garde escort or firepower backup...ask around you...official IMG's or traders...i'm not so bad for cookin' low-life troublemakers...even if i rarely use violence caus' I don't like that but..ya know...some just trespass limits....




I must tell you about 2 important facts :

One : I'd like to apply to ICMG, the Communist wing of the guild. If possible of course. If not, i do that application for regular IMG.

Two : As you noticed, i have strong political opinions, i also have a political background in Dublin, as i'm strong supporter of Molly Party's Legal Wing. Thus i have good relationship with official Garda and mollies in general. That is a personal choice and if needed i wont mix IMG with my personal choices if you ask for it.


In any case, i will always be on miner's side, whoever they are, unless those are corporates. I'm on hard-working people's side, never forget that.

About me: I come from a semi poor family on Planet Erie i was a part of the liberty navy and commanded a LABC witch was lost in battle defending transports coming from Galileo and being attacked by a group of rogues several of them out number and out gunned i made shere that the transports got away. Then we were forced to abandon ship because they hit the fusion core and it was going to overload. most of the crew made it. after i resined as a liberty officer and went looking for a place to call home again. I felt that img was good people i recently bought a mining ship and a gunboat and have been drawn to go searching through the outer sectors. i like mysteries there fun and unpredictable.
the purpose of img well is i have seen and with the help of one named jack i learned allot about img. one of the things was that they like to help fellow new comers and teach them how to mine and i liked that the other thing is that the defend them selves and others. also as i have seen that you are honest and hard workers and i would like to be part of it.
I like helping people allot i will even help others that are in need. i am a hard worker and willing to learn new things i can defend vary well as long as im not out gunned i can take well agents numbers. i am giving person and will help others.

I have been a member of IMG for some months now as an Independant resource and retained a registered Battlecruiser called the Hearbreak_Ridge covering not only Tau 23 supporting our miners but our troubled FP4 in Magellan against the ever growing hostile Hacker force.
