Rep-Ex uses the Republican Shipping ID and Tag for their traders, and merc ID on the escort ships.

So I take it we have to purchase the system for 1 billion credits?

Either way, We have ammassed the funds to purchase a system for 600 mil, unless the price change affects us which then it will be 1 bil. I am hoping that it will be 600 so we can have a nice cushion and purchase a base to go with the new system. Either way, we are 100% ready to purchase the system.

I'm confused ... I understand the new purchase price will be 1 billion for systems once the beta is in effect. The question is, when does / did the beta go into effect. I know the PVP server is on beta, but the RP server is still under 4.83? What specific date are we using as the deadline for purchases? I was under the impression that it was once the RP server was loaded on the beta - which was the time line I was trying to beat. It takes us pirates a bit longer to raise funds ya know.

So to clarify what Hoodlum said: RepEx uses Republican tag and id for its Shipping division and Merc ID and Republican tag for its Security division.

Also wanted a little help here. First off, is the Munich system even up for sale, and if so can it be modded? Secondly, if it is not or can not and we take the Bremen system instead, can a jh to either Hamburg or Stuttgart be added to that system? As it stands right now the only ways into Bremen are through guard systems (not very condusive to the freindly corporate environment we are shooting for). And lastly if jh's cannot be added what is a good system in or around Rheinland that RepEx could rightfully claim RP wise?

Lastly, can we still have our system modded before the final release of 4.84? Or has 4.84 been modded as far as its going to be?

I dunno whether munich is up for grabs, probably not.

So far, only a beta is released, and they still have yet to add in the newer spyglass and outcast dreads. I say theres still time, but thats for Igiss to answer.

I also wish to edit my system, and Omega 50 is great for our RP because the planet in 50 is unclaimed. Never had a foot set on it. Its a new begining, and perfect for us. That, and 50 is a clean slate.

The Benitez family may be interested in buying a home system.
Naturally, one of the Gamma-attatched Omecron-#s would be appropreate.

However, such a high price for an empty system seems insane.
How much would it cost us to make it a system, rather than a pair of jump-holes and a void? How long would we have to wait? What kinds of stuff could be put into it?

It generally costs 250 mil-1 bil, depending onthe amount/difficulty of the modding you want done.

Wait time.. again, depends a lot. Can be from a week or two to several months.

Stuff that can be put in... I'll just quote Igiss on this:

Yes, in red bold, and I'm not going to discuss those unless you provide a very good reason (or your system is not related to any factions, but then you probably shouldn't be creating it at all).

What CAN be added to faction systems:

1) Up to 4 bases, including pre-existent bases.
2) Asteroid fields. Fields should be properly set up for each Sirius region. For example, ice fields are not expected to be anywhere except the Barrier. Stone asteroids might be anywhere. Also, don't use mined asteroid models.
3) Encounters of friendly guardian faction and base NPC faction (Lane Hacker Guard fighters and Lane Hacker traders, for example). In the case of phantoms, nomad encounters (hostile to anyone, including the phantoms, but what else can we do?). Other hostile encounters currently not allowed.
4) Unpopulated planets, quantity might be from 1 to 5.
5) New lights, if some of your objects require additional lighting (realistic).
6) Basic trade, equipment properties.
7) Empty wrecks.

What MUST NOT be added to a faction system:

1) New suns.
2) Populated planets.
3) Nebulas (1 might be allowed if it's not large and there are NO objects inside of it).
4) More than 20 weapon platforms (exception made for Dab's system).
5) Unique objects (Dyson sphere, Arch, etc; exception made for Nightfall's systems only).
6) Wrecks with any valuable equipment (total price more than 5-10 thousand credits).
7) Mineable fields, except for cheap commodities (water, oxygene).
8) Profitable trade routes (some basic trade properties should be set up tho).
9) Exclusive equipment selling points.
10) Bases, planets and nebulas with names that don't have direct relation to real Earth geography.
11) Anything not compatible with Vanilla FL setup and Discovery official history.
12) More than 2 bases that sell ships.
13) Large bases (Newark-type), trade lanes.
14) Objects added by Discovery. Use original models for everything, even for weapon platforms. The last Discovery-added model should be Nightfall's dockable Outcast dreadnought. No more allowed.
15) Any objects/combinations of objects that cause lag, graphical issues, crashes (obviously).
16) Large mine fields/debris fields (unrealistic).
17) Large encounters, nebulas and any zones, if over 40% of their area is out of system borders.
18) Any jump gates, new jump holes.
19) Patrol paths.

What MUST NOT be changed in a faction system:

1) Suns
2) Lights
3) Original base setup
4) Well... generally everything already present in the system.

If anything in your submission contradicts the restrictions and you are absolutely sure that your system will lose something important without it, contact me via PM or igissmail@gmail.com and we'll discuss the issue. Some restrictions might be removed in exceptional cases. Some might not.

The list will be updated from time to time (along with the Rules). Please check them right before you submit.
