[color=#FFFFFF]I remember the days when technology was something cool you see in the last minutes of the late news. People actually communicated and the home telephone (oh dirty word) telephone (Yeh one of them with the number wheel was used as a tool to arrange meetings not replace them... spending times with muh buddies outside (ye 11-12 year old gangstas yo!)...Yes technology spoils, Q_Q about it, rage about it, and realize how depended you are on it. I got my internet connection when I was 10, that was 11 years ago but I started properly browsing and stuff when I was 15 - 16, I didn't care about it back then but now 2 days without the 'net I'm going bat****

When I was 9, we dint even have tv. I got my first internet in a students residence, when I was 21. When I was 16 me and my friend connected 2 dos PCs and rammed jetplanes into tall buildings (t'was in 1992)... I think the game was called jetfighter or flight simulator 2 but Im not sure. Frame rate was like 1 frame per second. We chatted while we did that, and he told me that the are creating huge worldwide computer network called internet and it will revolutionize how we communicate, and I said... nah this chat thing is stupid people will still rather use phone.

[color=#FFFFFF]<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%][color=#FFFFFF]Well maybe because we grew up in the time without the net I still prefer just to go out and communicate with people and use the net mainly for relaxation, not as a complete replacement for RL interactions. But imagine the 2000s kids, my cousin's kid has been stuck to the PC like it's a magnet since he was like 6...

Before there was net, there was computers without net, video, tv, your record player, and comic books, and books. Plenty of stuff for kids to be glued to.

Im not sure us being glued to disco is much different to modern day kids anyhow just cause I'm older and you're a little it older.

With so many wireless devices malfunctioning I'm wondering if your house is made out of lead. Are you constantly running the microwave?

A good rule of thumb to go by is to never use any wireless junk.

I agree with that statement, mostly.

Wireless equipment is pretty good mostly, the problem is that it needs it's own power source to work, unlike the wired devices which get their power from the PC.

As far as I am concerned, that, along with the wifi signal being blocked on the odd occasion, is one of the major problems with wireless devices.

The number of times I've been playing online with someone and they have had to change the batteries on the mouse, holding up everyone else they are playing with, makes me laugh.

A possibly very ordinary signature coming soon.

Happened to me yesterday, a teammate ate a SNAC thanks to the wireless mouse crying for new batteries. Unless you're playing on a huge screen from across the room, I don't really see what wireless gives you over a normal mouse.

*sighs* Just because people want to have every little gadget and tons of useless functions. And then they wonder why it doesn't work.

But well, my computer does weird stuff too...It makes a weird buzzing noise when the graphics card is used. But not always...it seems to be very specific. Also my computer freezes every now and then on specific stuff. Like when showing characters in Freelancer, being on bases mostly for example or when a NPC calls you ingame and their picture shows up in the left corner of the screen, and things like this. Just the weirdest stuff...And very, very annoying.
