In other genres, Medieval II: Total War keeps me occupied for weeks at a time when I play a campaign for a nation I haven't played a campaign for yet. Recently, I've finished a campaign as Denmark (my favorite military) and have started one as the Byzantine Empire. This has taken me the course of a week and a half of playing 2-3 hours a day average. Very time consuming and good game.

Morrowind is very good as well. The same principles from Medieval II: Total War applies to Morrowind. I've played the game about 100 times, and I still have not finished the main storyline because I have gotten sidetracked with other ideas. I got really close on my last playthrough; I'll do it eventually.

Played NOLF, didn't do NOLF 2, NOLF is an awesome game tho , played FO NV , but it was a big letdown for me. But maybe its just me.

Medieval II: Total War, will try , and will try Morrowind too :3, but ofc I have to do the elder scrolls in order first:)

Plaaaaaaaaayed.

Nuh-uh , I'm a Battlefield series fan and what is this?

' Wrote:I'm thinking of getting into a bit of Obliv as my "game I can't wait to play after school". But one of my all time favorites would have to be Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Played it back in primary school- still love it.

Star Wars played, eh maybe I'll re-play it:D

Borderlands if you want a game to keep you entertained and does not require much thinking.
Dead Space or the sequel if you want some nice gory action and horror.

But the game....THE GAME would have to be Red Dead Redemption, a western that plays like a third person shooter/adventure game. Got a world in it that is so pretty you can just spend hours wandering around in the wilderness and deserts.

r3vange, damn good shout with Republic Commando. That is a great game, I ruled that online on the xbox. I even had my own soundtrack when playing and it went like this....

"Headshot...Headshot...Headshot...........Headshot...Headshot...Headshot.........Headshot.......................Headshot......."

NOLF was awsome back in the day.

I suggest starting with fallouts. All are great and story is simply awsome.

Now days I find StarCraft II really satisfying and enjoyable so I strongly recommend that.

Dead Space 2 was disappointing for me. Revange already summed up a good few titles - surprised to see Nexus in there. Graphically an awesome game. (And yes, those models are compatible with Freelancer, with some tweaking).

I sometimes enjoy a good old strategy game too, mainly for <strike>body</strike>bottycount purposes. Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander (typically Forged Alliance) are good timesinks.

Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.
