Flickr has a really annoying protection against downloading pictures from their site using the right click menu of your browser. They streched a 1?1 transparent pic over the picture you would like to download, so if you right click on the picture, you actually right click on the transparent overlay.
If youre using Firefox, just open your userContent.css (create the file if it doesnt exist yet) file in your Mozilla chrome directory (windows: c:\Documents n Settings\$USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\$profile_name\chrome) and add this line:

img[src*=spaceball.gif] {display: none !important;}

and the protection is gone:P

I think I wrote a page long list on Firefox Extentions... Might go looking for it later.

This one is my favourite;

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Browser.../FireTune.shtml

As Fasterfox will get you banned from almost every single site on the internet (including Disco), this is the next best thing. Firetune doesn't load pages before hand, it just mods Firefox to run with your computer and internet speed. Always fun.:)

EDIT: Ha, found it.:D

' Wrote:Ya the new Firefox 2.0 is awesome. the spell check is great.. If any here is new to firefox. He are some suggested Extensions to get.

Flashgot:: Lets you connect firefox to one of your download managers ( if you have one. )

IE Tab: A extension to trick websites in thinking firefox is IE. ( Useful for IE only pages )

Adblock: An extension to block ads

Download Status Bar: Puts your download in the status bar instead of a popup box. ( comes in very handy when keeping track of downloads)

Adblock G Filter: Automatically
adds the filters to Adblock so you don't have too.

Update Notifier: Automatically checks for updates for you extensions and themes and tells you when there is something new.

Distrust: When activated you browser the net, when deactivated it removes all trace of what you were doing, cache, history, cookies, etc. that were used in that session.

Mcafee Site Advisor: Siteadvisor is a company that tests websites for virus and such, this will tell you what the site is rated the second you go on it.

Cute Menus: Makes Firefox look a billion times better.

Mr Tech Local Install: This is a very useful extension. It will let you make extension and themes compatible with any version of firefox. Plus has over 20 mini extensions built in to it that come in handy

Firetune: FireTune is not an extension, Its a program then edits features in Firefox to make your browser net surfing for 4 times faster. Don't worry its safe, you can even check on softpedia it says it safe. Just run the program, chose your computer setting type. And done, firefox browser net surfing is 4 times faster.

A tip that most of you will eventually find out, FASTERFOX WILL GET YOU BANNED FROM EVERY SITE. USE FIRETUNE. Thats all you need to know.

Enjoy.

Google developed software that detects users who are using Fasterfox. Why? Because Fasterfox takes up un needed bandwidth from websites. It caches webpages before you load them so everything looks like its moving fast... But its really not.

Google usually notifys users of this condition when you load their website (unless they removed it). The Discoverygc.com web hoster is also running the software, because I know a few who got banned automatically because of it.

firetune doesn't speed up anything, it just changes settings for you in firefox so that certain things will load faster. I've already changed all of those settings manually, but it might be good for novices to firefox.
