It's been a very long time since an update here. Too long infact. This has mostly been due to me being held back by school.

I've been withholding any comment on the storyline, because I wanted to due it all in one lump post, but I'll let you guys in on it since you've been so patient. Project Schlarpei, as it's internal devname goes, real one being Freelancer: Neo Terra, is a post discovery mod set several decades after the Neo Terran Front's sleepership - finally sucessfully constructed in 845 A.S - settles in the Procyon sector.

I'm not going to go into any specific factions or plotline here, but what I will say is that the mod will feature several very unique factions, with fully crafted lore and shiplines, capped out at gunboat level, the reason for this being that the infrastructure to create larger vessels so early in settlement of the sector is extremely limited.

What we are on the lookout for is anyone who may be capable of hosting, or could get us into contact with a proper dedicated host, as well as our own Cannon. Essentially, we need a hooker.

There is a very good chance that models and infocards could be done by August and all of the systems are nearly finished, but all this means is a singleplayer release. As mentioned earlier, hosting and an FL Hook coder are needed before we can go multi.

Myself and Cameron (Xalrok) will be working on compiling a proper introductory post with specific faction lore and more info in general, which you can almost certainly expect by June.
