' Wrote:It was entirely inaccurate. That it was inaccurate could have been verified with a thirty second pause for thought, thirty seconds which you were unwilling to set aside to assure accuracy prior to engaging in your crusade to vilify a group of people that you have a personal vendetta against.
Likewise your willingness to engage in casual slander. Enthusiastically pursuing accusations that Bacon was simply looking to engage those ships in an effort to 'claim' npc harvesting grounds for himself under the guise of the veteran player conspiracy agenda or whatever tosser rubbish you're trumpeting these days. This in the name of seeking to tear down players that you loath under the mask of lamenting the loss of 'fair play'?
That you did so whilst lambasting the perfectly acceptable conduct of one party, the one you have personal issues with, without deigning to question the origin stories of what turned out to be the actions of persons that we should seek to encourage away from silently expecting the environment to cater to their whims?
Absolutely pathetic.
Such actions happen and carry on literally hundreds of times a day on this server. That is a matter of public record. If, beneath your inability to transcend your disdain for individuals that you've decided must be hounded regardless of the validity of your attacks, you maintain a genuine desire to see active and positive change of policy and outlook on this server might I suggest that you abstain from engaging in such wildly inaccurate and grandiose statements? They're clearly perceivable and laughably inaccurate and do little save serve to undermine any credibility your present or future arguments could hope to carry.
Actually, Baconsoda (if I remember correctly, maybe it was another reaver, several reavers participated in a fight during that) has already done this before, at a time when he blew up the same person around 5 times in less than an hour, including their guard system, when he justified his action with exactly that... hounding people into stop NPC farming at some locations so they would make less money... something that has been done by veterans for years. So I dont really dig his declaration that it was not at all his intent to ruin someone's fun.
Yes I know that it has been a practice for many people, in particular phantoms, to blow up people after one liners.
I wanted to point out that for the majority of players, blowing up people (repeatedly) after one liners is not considered acceptable behavior, and has resulted in them getting sanctioned for lack or RP.
Don't come to me with "its simply a vendetta caused by personal dislike". I dont know any of you personally. And if anyone is trying to make things personal with a volley of insults, its you. My goals are to set equal standards for everyone, something that you and your clique just happened to be the biggest adversary of.

Of course it's a personal vendetta. This thread serves as a perfect example of your willingness to slobber over an opportunity to engage in attacks against a person or group that you maintain a personal antipathy for under the guise of promoting "fair play". You didn't give a toss about notions of fair play. You ran into the thread, lashed about quoting non existant rules and citing non existant motivations in an event you were not privy to, all of which painted a specific party in a poor light without having any reason or justification to do so.
You saw a thread where someone, who turned out to be in the wrong, mentioned being splashed by a party that you have personal issue with and I'd imagined knocked over your Mountain Dew pyramid in your unbridled enthusiasm to flail about veteran this and conspiracy that.
If a propensity for judgement regardless of the context or evidence of the situation isn't indicative of an established sentiment, in this case antipathy, then I'll be damned if I understand why we have a system of language to communicate ideas at all.
You're wrong.
You're driven by a desire to attack and undermine people you dislike regardless of truth.
I was getting a speech ready but this was tossed to me to use instead. Not as eloquent as what I was gonn type but it certainly captures the spirit of it.
