I agree, no wings. Only gunboat with wings is the Dragon Gunboat... And they just make it harder to maneuver through asteroids and a bigger target in combat. It's a cool looking ship, but would be better without wings. Same goes with this gunboat.

well u cant call those things wings...they are there just for show off...to follow generic pirate design and to remind to some extent to a wolf...like any other pirate ship....

like i said, when i catch some time i will remove those front supports and then we will see how that looks...after that i may submit that ship to Igiss...to replace rouge GB or make it generic pirate GB..it will be totally at his disposal....(i prefer to make it generic pirate gb)

Civilian Gunboat? IMO a civ is a basic public person, and RP speaking, a random member of the public or whatever you want to call it is very unlikely to own, or afford, a gunboat. You would also need crew members, etc etc. Thats what i think. The old Rogue gunboat strikes me as something to do with the Order. Thats my two rupees (Sorry been playing too much Zelda)

Make the old Rogue Gunboat into the Bounty Hunter Gunboat. As others have pointed out, it fits with the other BH capships.

I'd rather see a new civvie/GMG/Zoner gunboat(s), rather than that ugly old thing. Pawn it off on the BHG... No one likes them, anyway. ;)

My only problem with doing that is the fact that the exisiting capital ships from the BHG are starwars ship, the destroyer being the most recognizable as it's the Blockade Runner from the opening scene of Ep4. Don't get me wrong I love the ship and love flying it.. But I don't think the "star wars" feel should be reinforced. Just my 2 cents... the BHG gunboat proposal by Angel of Mercy is below.. it really does look FANTASTIC and I say we use that above moving an existing pirate gunboat to a lawful faction. Image all the rogues and allies that would have to sell it!

Even if it doesn't look freelancerish, the design promises speed and agility. Defintive a ship BH would fly.
Another way would be to use the Rogue Gunboat as BH GB as soon as the Rogues got a new one.
So th Bh ships will look relative.

That BH gunboat does look pretty cool. It fits in with the BH fighters more than the capships, but that's a good thing.

Old Rogue Gunboat could be renamed the Molly Gunboat... It's only sold on a Molly base, anyway. But since the new gunboat is thematically closer to the Wolfhound series of ships (which are "generic" pirate fighters, even if they're really Rogue/Molly), I'd say make the gunboat more generic as well. 'Rogue Gunboat' isn't a very inventive name. I would suggest calling it the 'Fenris' or 'Fenrir' (after the mythological Norse wolf), but I think I've already suggested that name to some other ship... I think it was a generic pirate bomber, but I'm not sure what ever came of that.

@ Doom : Keep the Pirate GB as it is. No further changes are needed.

@ all others : I had not the time to play 4.84b1. Working on my models, but have taken a look on the new models in HardCMP. The Scorpian GB and the Waran Bomber are completely out of place. Wonder who was demanding them. About the ARWing. I tried some hallucinogenic stuff. Then the ship was looking nice, but not if you have all your senses clear together. All new ships i have seen in the forum are fitting better with FL/Discovery than these three.
I wonder that no one is debating about them.
