There is imho a forced need to place them. I dont think anyone lawfull would shoot on sight, but rather have it so that they give 'said' player a warning, that tresspessers will be shot/imprisenent for securety reasons, obviously.
Thats perfectly in rp. Now, why would a navy inmediatly shoot down an tresspesser while it might be lets say, an person looking for intell, which is working for another faction.
Rest:
Plase only a 2 weapon platforums around the hole, and make sure that hole is out of sight so it gets to be be flight to first. (Not on the road from a tradelane like Virginia is.)
Sure, The dev;s will get some additional work to it, but this is perfectly in rp. Outcasts, Nomad, Corsairs do have theyr own systems.
For gurad systems as of liberty rogues, which arnt located near allys house, i would put weapon lpatforms in them, as to protect theyr system.
place GUARD wep platforms around the hole (out of the guard system) and make then "invisible" like battleshhip atum for example. ?
I don't think we have to scare/instakill a curious bypasser ... there can be enough weapon plattforms on the other side to blast a small moon to pieces, but not in the peaceful main system where the guard jumphole is located!
' Wrote:well this would work for any guard system.

You read it, didn't you?
This is why warning buoys won't work.
They arent suposed to keep everyone out of all guard systems, they are suposed to explain to a noob why the npcs were shooting him, for the appropriate factions where it makes sense in RP that they would warn him to stay out.
In a limited use, yeah, these can help. Putting them outside Virginia, Illonois, Halle, Fukoda, Hiroshima, Poole, Salesbury, Halle, and Braunschweig couldn't hurt. The other systems, though, I dunno. A nav buoy would kind of scream "HEY THERE ARE PIRATES HERE." if they were put there. Peurto Rico might work too, but really just putting them outside of house authorities might be sufficient.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

*sighs* ... *quotes post#39 by Decerebrated.Individual*
Quote:Only the faction which dont want to stay hidden will put one up, of course.
Its for each faction to decide individually if they want to put one up, and what they want to write in it.
Nomads probably wont put one up.
A faction which wants to stay hidden may write "DANGER! JUMP WHOLE LEADS INTO A BLACK HOLE! DO NOT ENTER!"
And I like to add there (again) that you can also make some kind of wreck floating around instead of a light emitting buoy for those pirates who wanna make sure they convey the right message ... so it does NOT have to be a buoy!
