I mean... people are bored with 4.85 anyway... why not make a few months test period to see what happens if some rules are dropped. Might not be the discocalypse that people paint on the wall after all. Cant know till ya tried it.
Well it has been tested. They've allowed it for House Official Factions to target traders with their caps. The problem I see is that there has been no stated findings or conclusions to this "test" that has been going on for quite a while. I for one believe it's long due to decide if either everyone can target traders with caps or no-one. Not just official factions. The growing division needs to end. (Also I have always considered it fine for caps to shoot traders, there is an easy counter for any ship out there)
1. Would be the whole "Don't shoot/demand cargo from transports". I'm acutally curious as to why this is even here in the first place tbh.
2. The whole being rammed while in a cruiser gets annoying after a very short time ... Especially when people fly around and close to you in the bigger combat situations, You always get little fighters from both sides darting around the capital ships as they wage thier own battle.
3. Would be interesting if they made it so if a ship with shields out hits something they take a load of damage. Would be funny to see fighters in no. 2s scenario exploding if they go too close to the massive cap thier trying to hide behind.
