You and I had this discussion Mwerte. I served as the ambassador between the Dev team and the Wilde at the time.

I'm sure you recall the talks, given that the Wilde were being unfairly persecuted in the form of repeated stripping of essential equipment from their bases at the time and your appreciation to have an advocate representing your faction.

Those were generally the terms agreed to. In point of fact when your faction first gained its status the promise was that the Scorpion would never leave your home system, given by pratyre.

I don't think he's saying the Nomads aren't violent, they just aren't violent for the reasons most humans associate with Nomads.

We solved our food problems by cultivating allies, and, uh, maybe a little bit of majicks in the future. I dunno, we'll see how the Elders react to what i've got up my sleeve.
As for not being violent......either they want to destroy humanity or not. If they don't want to destroy humanity/retake their birthright, what's their mojo?

No, i wasn't playing for some time at all, and i'm alright with nomads attacking me. What i'm not alright with is nomads who are being shot at and then whine about them coming there to "roleplay". The best way to roleplay with nomad is laser.

What i would like more, tho, is more nomads attacking me. It's fun.

What i would like to happen less is scorps. They ARE overpowered. And if somebody dies on scorp to two fighters because he has uni8 (ololol) then it's his problem of not having imaginary money of disco. I, frankly, hate scorps. Wilde? Scorps, scorps, scorps. Sometimes something better, but how many scorps do they have, 10? More? Nomads with scorps - yes, it happens. I've seen one and i heard about another. Common. Enouh scorpz.

PvP is more than half of Roleplay in Sirius. What do people not get about this?


A Nomad being attacked or attacking is fine, what isn't fine is when a whole capfleet and a dozen or so fighters and bombers show up to kill a lone gunboat with a single line of poor roleplay each. If the Nomad is pissed that they've been attacked in a pretty fair scenario, then it's a dumb Nomad.

Well, yep, that's my point. It happened some time ago, i don't remember exactly the month or even the year, but it was something like two fighters vs two fighters and nammu vs geb. Or something like that. The thing is - i was flying my Order around and they came to Minor. To "RP". And when they were shot, they whined in pm.

The Geb is a little excessive perhaps.

And Nomads learned pretty quickly that Minor is a cesspit of cowards who hug the Isis and overwhelm you with stupid numbers of caps, so it's the worst place to go for RP.

I'd like to see some freedom for morphs, since Keepers don't do their "work".

However current morphs are more then efficient pvp-wise, and while ID limits them to self-defence only, usually people go "ZOMG nomad" and attack first. COnsidering 3 Kraken/1 Inferno morph can solo GB without problems, I find it strange morphs are so ignored.

Excessive? Did you see geb's size, turret arcs (they really, really suck) and nom turret dps? However, maybe, but the fighter part was alright. And i don't think chasing them to Alaska can be considered Isis-hugging.

Thing is, RP with nomads is mostly guns. There are very few groups who would love to have their minds screwed by noms.

Battleship Shield with enough bots to keep the fighters fighting for hours. Those fighters and Nammu wouldn't have been able to knock it's shield out.
