Trading buff: Solves the majority of the problems.

A rule on miners who are hauling: Miners cannot haul the ore themselfs. They are to be using an transport ship. Miners should get theyr own class type of ships, such as instead of transports, Miners.

Fixed.

This also btw enceurages player to player tradign with ore.

I'm sorry but this idea is dumb, makes no sense RP-wise, would cause a large amount of rule-lawyering and unnecessary violation reports.

Not fixed.

Btw: Miners already use transports F1'd in the fields to haul the ore. It's hardly a change and it would cause more harm than good. Have fun prooving that the mining ship user mined the ore himself and flown it to the location.

First people were complaing that their mining factions got nothing to do and asked for mining mod.
Mining mod got implemented.
Alot of people fould out that mining is a closest way to get their shiny BS then trading.
Alot of lolwuttery concentrated in few systems.
Alot of pirate factions got stucked with the fact that they have to raid single system with critical concentration of lol, solaris bs and other unwanted stuff to do their pirate rp.
Admins got annoyed by rain of sanction reports, constant whinage, forum rages, <insert other reasons> and turned mining off.
100000 posts of complains appears.

Trading is enought, and there WAS life before mining mod <- for those who are yelling that mining is uber important.

Also 100kk of money = fighter ammo supply for next 300 days.

Detroying mining means destryoing escorting aswell. People who escort mostly escort traders who buy the ores that miners mine.

When we were sometimes cargopirating for purely RP reason, to take useless crap from traders, we still met a lot of them outside mining systems, and they were not hauling ore. Where is your god now?

Hauling in a Hegemon is ok in theory. The only problem is the serious pain of getting it in and out of the field.

I think most people forget that the implementation of the mining mod was the whole time rather a test phase to look how the impact of that new method of generating money would be.
It doesn't need to be turned off, its surroundings need to be balanced to each other so it's not that uncommon anymore to have a cargo load worth several dozen millions.
Miners and their respective traders F1 out of interactions and insult/swear at pirates for them losing so much credits when blown up.

It's a question of proper balance, not if the mining mod itself has to stay or not. Of course, just turning it off is the easier -solution-, but as said, just will bring back the -old problems- that people had been complaining about with the traders before the times of the mining mod.

People do not like F1ing and swearing miners? Guess how said miners will react when they're forced to generate their precious credits the much harder and more time consuming way of trading.

Guess what, I used to escort traders back when there were traders? Where is your god, now? : )))) I also escorted [Convoy] fellas when they were hauling military stuff to Brettie (while mining mod was in action).

Well I saw a miner in Dublin going around circles worried and confused. In Omega 7 two Hegemons were bumping each other fighting for a single cobalt ore leftover. But aside from that everything seems normal, miners are now trading and lolwuts are still lolwuts.
