Dusty, I dont want you to get the impression that I'm simply against this due to the fact that you often use less-than-fair numbers. Ive honestly just never had something I'd call a passable RP experience.
There have been several occasions where, in a group of 5 or more of your men, I have only gotten simple engagement notices, and nothing more. You just show up, and shoot. It's no fun for anyone who isn't actually a Reaver. I realize the stipulations of it being a merc faction, but, still...just put in a bit more effort with the RP (the ACTUAL, TEXTUAL RP), rather than the shooting.
I hope Dusty won't eat me for posting here addressing your interrogations, but.
Well yes, they are mercenaries. They earn money by killing people, not by chatting with them. Judging the quality of a faction's RP by the number of lines they write before shooting on folks isn't smart. If you want to judge their RP, then check the members char's bios, their contracts, and so on.
God this is beautiful...been trying to look for the right words to say that for a while.
I find it amusing how you generalize criticism and then shrug it off as nothing more than bias...
For the record: My main complaint lies with the weird weapon setups, the lack of arr pee on an arr pee server and the fact that you seem to have it in for my members to such a degree that you do... well, the things which Twisp described.
Perhaps you would get positive feedback from us if you decided to fix at least one thing on the list.

In order to even out the flow of what little criticism I have, I shall tell the tale of a positive encounter I had with the Reavers.
It took place in Tau 37, just outside the Freeport... I believe it was... well, I can't remember who it was, but we had a pretty decent fight and as usual I'm dodging and weaving to make the most of it. Hribek was there as well with his mining ship, and the naughty bugger tried to SNAC me while I was typing... good luck doing that to a Bayonet, but anyway... Hribek got taken care of by another pilot while I faced off with the other guy whose name I cannot recall... and after a while they both retreated, having taken too much damage to continue. I sent a good fight message, he sent a good fight message and we talked a little bit about our tactics in the fight. It was quite enjoyable, and much less hostile than the other encounters I have had with the Reavers in which the fights were tainted with ooc hatred which CERTAIN people who are in this faction has for me and my faction.
Try to understand that fights are fine so long as they aren't unfriendly, because as soon as personal feelings gets thrown into the mix, we start seeing Reaver ganks like the ones thrown at Twisp. I'm complaining because I've seen the best this faction has to offer, and after that I only got to experience the worst, and might I add that the 101st has never ganked the Reavers or acted pissy after winning/losing a fight where they were involved, making this affair rather one-sided indeed.
Behavior in pvp is based on who you are "friends" with, as your list proves, Dusty. Try being a bit more objective and maybe we'd be more happy to encounter you in pvp... or better: Treat me like crap when you see me, but don't jump to the assumption that my members deserve the same treatment just because they are in the 101st.

Role play is the act of fulfilling one's selected role, not chatting someone up. The role play of the Reavers is to kill people for money, not talk to you.
I'm in the XA, the Reavers shoot me. Hell, the last Reaver I fought was Baconsoda and Silver. I had a blast. There wasn't much talking because there shouldn't have been. They were hunting me and I knew they were hunting me, why would I chat with people who make to kill me? By the way, I lost that fight too.
I don't expect a pirate to chat with my trader for an hour before he robs me. Just like I don't expect a trader to tell me he is going to shoot me while I am robbing him. I don't expect LN and RM to chat for half an hour before they start shooting, they are enemies, their role is to shoot each other not talk.
You should have to write a novel, no... but merely saying "You have a bounty on you... Engaging." isn't exactly acceptable either. That was the point I was trying to make.

All I did was post the statistics and state that they're interesting. Infer from them what you will.

In point of fact we did a great deal of internal spring cleaning. At the moment the only tech chart permission ships we have are the GMG bomber, which I don't know if anyone is even using atm due to political/zoi concerns and Kaze's Black Dragon/FA bomber. Kaze aside no one seems to be using anything without the word BW/Civi on it.
As to weapons, eh, I think the only thing we have at the moment which anyone could complain about are the Corsair guns. Which I'm comfortable with.
Given the above I find your complaint over the tech we employ to be puzzling. Under your leadership and by your blessing, prior to the tech chart lockdown, you maintained the permissions for the MM to employ OC weaponry alongside their own extremely eclectic ensemble... And they even shoot Outcasts in Liberty? Maybe it's just gunboats with your blessing. As much as I am trying to avoid pointing fingers here that's a show of bias which bears mentioning.
But, yeah, I'm not sure why you frown on us for doing what you support on a vastly smaller scale.

Yeah. I had a long talk with Hribek about that after you brought it to my attention. As previously mentioned to Snak3 I don't condone the stealth kill tactic thingie or whatever you want to call it.

Something that I find interesting about the above is the insistence that this is about you and me. The two pilots are the screaming top of the OC kill list are Sina and Kaze. Two persons with whom I thought you maintained a great deal of personal respect?
Furthermore, to the idea that everyone in the factions we shoot at are friends with us: I wish I was! Lots of rather nice gents in most of those factions. Heck, even you and I got along just fine when I was going through my IND run, wasn't until I put on my Reaver hat that the accusations of deep rooted hatred started to fly. I don't even know what to say about accusations of being objective coupled hand in hand with accusations that everyone who likes us must only be doing it because we're friends.
